On my way back from the track, I noticed a black BMW a few car lengths ahead. I told my passenger to turn on the camcorder in case it was an m3. I didnt think it would be since I've only seen one on the road before. But it turns out, it was.

Typically BMW M3 owner I guess, rich bald...looked cocky. Anyway, I was behind him at a light. In front of him, was a moving van.

The light turned green and i stayed about 5 car lengths back so I could get the RPMs up so the blower would be at optimal range. As soon as the van signalled to change lanes, I dropped the car in 3rd gear and got ready. (still 5 car lengths behind waiting). I see a puff of white smoke come out of M3s exhaust pipe and take off ...so I floored it. He pulled away for a few seconds...but at around 4500 RPMs i was reeling him in. I speedshifted to 4th and was right on his ***. I then GM passed him and put 2 car lenghts on him

Not bad considering he had all the advantages ( he was ahead to begin with and accellerated first). This made my day.
I tried to get up to him to see if he wanted to do the 3 honk race but he just ignored me and he was driving 85mph in a 55mph

My car is a speed density Z28, LB9 5 speed. Mostly stock internals. Paxton SN92 @ 8.5 lbs. SVO 24# injectors. 52psi fuel pressure @WOT

And for comaprison purposes...I usually trap 103mph (with a MAJOR slipping clutch) consistantly.

EDIT: I actually should confess. I dontw own a Z like ive been saying in my previous posts. Its a 91 1LE formula LB9. Some people here do not like me . Yes, it is me THEFORMULA!!!!!!

He had all the advantages ..... except ..... he didnt know he was racing

When I race someone I let them know I want to race by flashing my hazards. Then when they flash back I know they want to race. Hanging back and then comming up from behind and 'racing' unsuspecting cars isn't much of a race if you ask me. How do you know he didnt let off the gas, see you roar by and then go 'WTH??'

If the 1LE Formula went a little bit after the M3, and the M3 was pulling on him in the beginning, then I would say the M3 was trying. Plus, puffs of smoke don't really come out unless it is cold or it is near WOT. Good kill, and nice job with the car.

dude. ive been racing since you were a zygote. I think I know when someones racing me and when theyre not. Especially when a blown 1le has it floored and is reeling in an M3 slowly.

i dont know what video you guys are watching, but it is obvious TO ME that the M3 was flooring it the whole time. first he was trying to weave in and out of the traffic, and as soon as the truck moved out of the way, the M3 took off, and thats when the formula took off and passed him.

 

i want to see that video if u have msn could u please add me and send it to me please..... i want to send it to a buddy of mine that is convinced that the m3 would take any thirdgen. oh and i also want to use it for my movie.

 

blue305rs has seen the video and I think he has it. It's around 24 megs encoded with Divx5.03.

Anyone have any ideas on how to move this thing around?
