Sway bar mod from Ground Control

I just found these while looking on the Ground control web site.
This is something I'd never thougth of doing. I will probably do this to my front bar, but not my back one. Even though I have the 36mm-24mm bars on the car, the back is still very tail happy in the wet. Since you cut the ends of the bar to install the kit, this effectively reduces the lever arm length on the front sway bar making the bar stiffer. You can also drill multiple holes on the a-arm where the lower bolt goes to add even more adjustment.

Anyway, since I'd never seen these before I just wanted to let everyone know that these were available.

Saw a set of those an ebay. Look interesting at the least. Would like to hear feedback from any users of these.

Don't run those on the street, You will live to regret it fast!

Heim joints are only for all out race cars-why- Because they don't see the everyday dips and bumps and driveways, etc.., etc.. that a street car does. You will tear them up in a heart beat. I have run these on my Vette for years- this car maybe sees 1000 miles a year on the street- and even then its very cautious driving because of the stiffness and ground clearance/travel of the components. Race tracks are very flat surfaces.

Well I'm heavily into autocrossing, so was hoping I could run this setup on the street for my front bar only. I need to increase my front bar effectiveness somehow.

I made a panhard bar with rod ends and have had it on the car for a few weeks now and don't see any difference in the noise level, but I do have a flowmaster cat back which is fairly loud anyway.

panhard rodends and LCA rodends don't take the abuse that heim link swaybar ends do. Here's a few of my bad ones I quickly dug up- I have thrown out most of them inluding the few I have TORN!

I ordered that kit once, before they had any pictures of it. Was around $90 as I recall. I sent it back, because I didn't want to have to cut my swaybar and weld it as well as weld the tab to the a-arm. They never said on their website it was not a bolt on deal. Maybe they do now, dunno.

Guldstrand sells a bolt on heim joint end link kit, but it's $190 per bar!
