How much do they cost?? and where can i get some?
hey thanx for the replies guys.
Kat - that's weatherstripping i used.
1986CamaroSC - you can get 'em at parts stores but i've only seen them there in 14 or 15 inch. i have 16" wheels so i had to order 'em thru a local speed shop. total cost was about 60 for 2 pairs. I used a can of rustoleum gloss paint. automotive paint looked real dull.

wow...that looks really nice. Btw, those brake dust shields, would they fit on my 89?....i dont see why they wouldnt. What did you have to do to get them? Where did you order them from?...Were they hard to put in?
Yeah the springs lowered it just the right amount for me. i'm happy with the new look. and yes the tips do look badass
torch - they should fit. your local speed shop should be able to order 'em for ya. or you could get 'em from summit or jegs. they are easy to install. the only problem i had was the rear set rubbing against the caliper a little bit. i had to do some minor bending to fix the problem. but well worth the 60 bucks. here's another shot:

kool.....thanx man. Yeah shouldnt be a prob with mine...cause ive only got front rotors on her. But what exactly did you do to get them on? How do you get them on with the caliper being on....did you have to modify them?
all they are is just a thin piece of circular metal that goes right behind the rim with no modifications. just remove the wheel, place the cover on the hub, install the wheel and that's it. you can also color them like i did to match your car. i used gloss enamel paint. left it nice and shiny.

Very nice looking Firebird. The stance is perfect. Where did you get the A/C delete box? I have been looking for one.
torch - they should work. mine are also from Mr. Gasket.
blown87 - i got mine off ebay. a lot of people here have also gotten it from this site. they're currently out of stock though. you can also try the yards.

just a warning about the brake dust shields...they will make your brakes run hotter, since it restricts them from dissipating heat as well. Whether it will cause any sort of problem, who knows?
what type of shprings did you use to get that stance. It really looks like a good stance. i would like to do that but i worried about puting springs and having it too low but yours looks good. did you just get a front end allignment of did to get the front end kit from bear, and what did you do about the rear control arm mounts. thanks
i used the Eibach prokit. it's supposed to lower it an inch all the way around which is why i went with it. more than that wouldn't have been good. the front did lower about an inch but the rear went down a little more than half inch which is still good for me. i took measurements beforehand to make sure my stock springs weren't sagging.
I haven't done any other suspension work yet or an alignment. i need to save some more money still. however lookin at the car from the rear it doesn't look like the rear end shifted much.

Thats one sweet looking formula, I love that stance as well. I don't like the brake covers though I would be worried about over heating the brakes ( because I like to run cars to the limit lol)

how much did it come in total? i've been wanting to lower my car, as well as reduce bodyroll (duh..look in sig!!). but, i dont wanna make it extremely low, since i already bottom out on almost everything, and i dont want to burn a hole in my already shallow senior-in-high-school pocket. thanks

I had a set on my (used to have) '94 Z28. I left them black but I'm sure you can paint them if ya want to.
The only bad part is they don't make them for the rear wheels for IROCs and the newer '91-92 wheels because of the offset.

I suppose if you have rear drums you can use the ones llvll4l2c91350 has for the rears.
