82-92 HVAC and 83-92 auto shift plate REVERSE INDIGLO

After the (almost) successful buy-in and purchase of the reverse indiglo overlays for 86-89 Camaros, we've set our sights to match up the rest of the interior. So I sent S/R Motorsports an HVAC control with AC and heat, along with an automatic shift plate (P-R-N-OD-D-2-1), and they said to get together interested people for the buy-in.

They said they will be offering the two together as a package, but they may be able to work out having just the HVAC overlays done for those of you with manual trans. If you're interested in buying-in for either one of these, or both, post here! I will keep in contact with S/R to figure out how exactly they are going to be done.

No, I just need to get together 10 interested people here before a buy-in is set up, so that nobody here ends up wasting their time. However, if we get 10 people here, and all 10 sign up for the buy-in, things will run smoothly and quickly.

I think those will fit the TA's also. I'm in for the HVAC and the shift plate if it is the same. I can drop by the bone yard tomorrow and check. Also, I can send a set of speedo dials for the 86-89 TA's as soon as I pull them from the donor car.

If these overlays fit the TA, LET ME KNOW!!! It would be great to include a whole new set of people with these. If you want the TA cluster done, you'll have to set up your own buy-in for those at S/R's website. Drop them an email.

Well, part of the reason we're doing this is because we don't really know the quality or what they'll look like, because they've never been made for our cars before. If we get 10 people to buy-in, then eventually you will be able to see them and buy them. Until then, there won't be anything, so it's up to you what you want to do.

You can check out www.streetracerparts.com to see what the reverse indiglo overlays look like in general.

Overlays

I went to the bone yard today to score the TA dash panel.

Too late for the 140mph speedo as someone had already snagged the whole thing. I did grab the rest of the face plates though. Do they need the whole panel or just the face plates?

I'd be interested in the 1990-1992 110 mph gauge overlays....

So that makes two of us....

It wouldn't hurt to make a thread to see if more people would be interested.....

There IS a thread. It's just not labelled very well. The thread is "Reverse Indiglo Gauges Now Available" or something like that.

05kcilS and elevario,

check this website, that's where we got our older style ones at. They have them already up, but you'll need to buy-in and try to get 8 or 9 more people to buy-in as well.

http://www.streetracerparts.com/reverse_style.htm

They have both 145 and 110 listed.

Thank you man! But I already bought in on there. I emailed the company and they said that it cost money to update the numbers so they will only do it if a group orders. Since I've been the only one to order we only have 2 buy ins for the 110 mph ones! We need more people to buy in! Oh, and I too would like the hvac ones as well!

And elevario makes 10! I STILL need to know if the auto shift plate is the same on firebirds! I am going to email S/R now to have them set up the buy-in, but continue to post if you would like the HVAC and auto shift plate overlays. I will talk to them and figure out how this are going to be sold and post when I get a reply.

No, it's not set up yet. We're working out how to do the buy-in orders since only some people want the auto shift plate overlay. Don't worry, I'll post when it's ready.

Alright, here we go. I apologize for the long wait, there was some miscommunication.

HVAC and Auto Shift Plate overlays - The buyin is going to be set up for these this weekend. There will be options for getting the HVAC by itself or with the auto shift plate, and another option for getting either a seperate inverter or a Y-splitter to run off the inverter for the gauge cluster, if you have those overlays installed. I will post the link when they have it set up.

Halo Reverse vs Standard Reverse overlays - The standard reverse indiglo overlays are now in, for those of you that wish to exchange the halo reverse overlays that we originally recieved. There is a two-week grace period from TODAY in which you can exchange these at no charge (less shipping the original overlays back to them). If you want to exchange them, I advise you not to wait, go ship them out today.
