Pics of my new exhaust system! and are the 2.25 Cats big enough?
I am redoing my entyre exhaust system. i have ordered Slp shorties and they are getting coated as we speak. I am going to purchase a magnaflow 1993 Cat back system the will fit with minor hanger modifications, and i am trying to find out what to do about cats. I need to keep it legal and My dad Friendly, So i need both cats not gutted with air ports. I saw the direct fit ones by cat co the are exactly the ones i need but they are only 2.25" In/Out , is that big enough with their high flow cats to get max horse power also what will that do for me sound and performace wise comming from bone stock? It is going to the Flowmaster y pipe made for our dual cat cars.
So what do people think of this system does it sound good? Are there any suggestions you may have on this system. How do you think it will effect my engine performance, temp, and exhaust sound? I also plan to put a three inch cut out in after the y pipe after the cats on the i pipe for racing and increased volume.
Thanks for all of the thoughts and comments.
PS if they are not there alredy i will be posting pictures of most of these parts so you can better back you suggestions.
Thanks again
