got my historic tags for the 82 Z :)
picked them up yesterday! no more emissions bullshiot!
debating on getting the tranny rebuilt so i can just drive her around some or just wait till next spring or so and do the motor buildup with the LT1 or the LS1. money is a bit tight right now but after i'm done with tech school and get my MCSE i'm sure i'll be able to get the ball rolling on her.
insurance is only 25 bucks a month also

i want to finish the vette up first. hopefully winter time early spring the vette will be done and running mid to high 12's then i'll be able to focus my time and money on the Z

BTW in MD it has to be 20-24 yrs old and the factory doesn't build the car anymore.
otherwise 25 years old. and it also can't be to heavily modded (like tubs and tubed frame ect.)

MCSE? You think you'regoing to make money with that?
Honestly, I'd pick a new path. It used to be having a MCSE was a big thing...now, it's just like a college degree. Everyone has one, and look how many college grads are making big money.
And it doesn't mean squat. Aside from that, decent paying tech jobs are hard to find, unless you have some sort of gov't security clearance.
trust me....i know this.

What did you use to document that Camaros are no longer in production?
Also, who are you insuring it with?
Tyler
'82+ Z28 ...it's Purple and it's a dinosaur!
L98, T10, T2R... SCCA Solo2 ESP

actually, i didn't show any documentation. i got lucky and had a young guy that vouched for me working the counter.
i'm insured thru progressive. i'm 30 with no points.
i guess you could print a page off the internet and that would be documentation maybe from gm's site or something.
