I agree, not bad for a $2500 car, $900 paint job, and some Zaino

HaHa, I took it over to my mothers house to show her and she had me showing her the Zaino website.

I told her she didnt need it, and to go buy MGC. its way cheaper and works really well, and the vehicle she wants to put it on is a '98 1 ton, deisel dually. That she uses to pull around her horses! lol

But she wasnt having any of the MGC she seems to really want the Zaino. Ive converted my mother!! hahah..

Here is the Zaino website
ZFX Flash Cure Accelerator Additive(2ml) $19.95
Z-2 Show Car Polish for Clear Coated Car Finishes $12.95
Z-5 Show Car Polish for Swirl Marks/Fine Scratches $16.95
Z-6™ Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer Spray $9.95
Z-7™ Show Car Wash $7.95

Thats what you need, the Z-5 is basically for dark cars(Red/Blue/Black) so you may be able to skip it. I actually ordered the whole kit (click here) I had new paint so I didnt need to clay bar my car.

Zaino is definetly nice/easy stuff to work with. Expensive though. Does it work like wax though, meaning protection?? I used it on some1 elses car that I detailed.

it really isnt that expencive, I got 3 coats per ounce and you get 8oz for $13(so i get 24 coats for $13). Add in the ZFX and its $2 per coat..

not bad at all. looks better than my 'bird where they painted over the paint chips on the front. oh well, new paint isnt budgeted until november, i can live that long.

you need to do something about that nasty reflection, i think an iroc would look much better sitting next to that car

Nice car! Looks like mine but I have T-tops. Do you ever plan on putting the decals back on? I know it's hard to even think about putting decals on that paint, but I cant even imagine mine without them. The formula on the doors sets it aside from all the others but then again, you've already done that with the red paint! The fuel injection decal looks kind of cool on the hood bulge too! I guess I just take pride in having it look like it did from the factory new. I've got 137,000 on mine and it only looks about 3yrs. old. Bout all it needs is valve seals its got a little puff on start up but goes away. Best colors? RED WHITE & BLUE!

Ive decided against the decals, I debated for a while going back and forth, and decided w/o is what I wanted to do.

Its funny you say that, I was just noticing how many times I posted my sig. If you look my edit times, I was editing while you were posting. I dont see a problem with my sig otherwise. You have many many people who have sigs twice as long as mine listing things like "160* t-stat, TB bypass, took out the radio to save weight and so on, that are pointless and just taking up space. Mine is significant in every way. As she determines what my car gets, apparently when you get married they dont like you to spend all your money on cars anymore..lol Plus Im recently married and am proud to show my wife off.

Then when (if) you get divorced you enjoy car spending bliss . My IROC wouldnt even exist if she was still around bitchen at me.

HELL WITH THE CAR! WE WANT MORE PIC'S OF THE WIFE!

My first wife (9 yrs.) was so jealous of my car, I was told to go s***w it because I spent more time with it anyway! My last words to her were, "My 2 1/2" pipes would be an improvement".
My wife now(23yrs.) Is much wiser than she was. She bought me 3" pipes! Now I spend more time with her!

I don't really see the big hype on Zaino. Granted SweetS10v8's car DOES look good, but I think there are many alternatives on how to get a good shine. Look at my NON Zaino car:

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not flaming Zaino or anyone who uses it, I'm just giving my personal opinion which states there are OTHER methods for a great shine.

sqz: I think those arent the original rims

Also, I dont see why people are so anti-zaino, I think the common misconception is that it is way to expencive. When actually I think its cheaper to use than MGC. MGC runs around $12 a bottle. My Zaino might have a higher initial cost, but it is 100% pure, no wax, no cleaners, ALL SHINE.

After you get your Zaino you realize that 1oz of Zaino will do the entire car 3 times!!!! Thats 24 coats/bottle and 1 bottle is $13. I know you dont get close to 3 coats per ounce with MCG. By the time you add in ZFX or Z-1, the cost per coat is very close, if not cheaper!!

I have nothing against anyone who uses whatever they use, I like all shiny cars that their owners are proud of. I just choose to buy the best, look anywhere on the internet and the #1 rated product is Zaino. There are lots of home done comparisons and even companies that did like 40 some products. Im not anywhere close to rich, in fact im a poor college guy, lol. It only costs a few more nickels to go first class!(and in this case nickels, might actually be the difference in price)

SweetS10v8, Did you notice the wimpy sway bar in the second pic? I noticed the rims at first, but looked farther! SOoo, True formula W/WS-6 delete? Or did he get raped? I'd be checking the VIN #'s and do a background! OR MAYBE, SweetRide45 can tell us?

Im willing to bet its a true formula, Or else someone went throught a lot of effort to fake it, adding the hood and stickers.

We arent picking on you in any way, were trying to learn if there are formulas w/o WS-6?? Do you have the ws6 RPO code in your center console? At one time I thought all formulas were TPI too! lol

btw: when did they start adding the "Performance Suspension" emblem on the dash of WS-6's?

After some research I think it might be a V-6 car, look at this in the picture with the neons, didnt that spoiler only come on V-6 cars?(posted on 11/13) Also there isnt the "performance suspension" emblem on the dash.

After more searching I found that it is a V-6 (click here) (posted on 11/15) unless he has 2 cars??

Nothing wrong with the car, it looks great, nice work

Thanks for "somewhat bashing" on my car. All I was pointing out was that I got a good shine w/ my paint finish and wax combo. I DO currently have a V6 car, but I am swapping in a 350 soon. So, for anyone that wants to be a hater, I don't take it personally.

Thanks.

No one was even "sort of bashing" your car, in fact I went out of my way to make sure to let you know I wasnt. The fact that we pointed out certain things that seemed odd, was because we love our cars, and try to know as much as possible about them!

Noticing the wheels and sway bar differences, sqz was trying to help you by saying "you better check to make sure you didnt pay for what you thought was a formula"

Before I knew it was a V-6, I complemented you (not knowing I was) by saying "Im pretty sure its a Formula" Even after I found out it was a V-6 I even complimented you again on the job you did, not once did we put you down or your car. We simply saw some inconsitancies(sp) and had to figure it out, being car geeks and all. It comes with the territory.

Ditto man!

Really, I wish mine looked that good. Mine sat outdoors before I bought it and I had to scrub green algae off it! But you wouldn't believe it now. Imagine a GTP V6 in your form! You could make a lot of V8 guys drop tears in their beers! and still get decent milage.
