Wow!
Even smogged??
I don't have to do that anymore!!
Too bad I'm already out in Arizona, that would fit right in Lisa's car too!! And we no longer have to smog the cars here in this wonderful state!! So, who else is going to follow me out here?? Ha!!
Sorry, but I dragged out enough complete engines, and sets of heads, to start my own motor shop!!
I'm sure that I'll see you guys sometime!!
If you still have it in a few months, maybe Lisa will get it (if she ever gets a job out here to pay for it!!)

Good luck with the sell,

George

Serious question....

Don,

How much for the motor and install into.........lets say an 1987 Trans-Am? Wouldnt a new chip be needed to make this thing run?

Also, any one know how much I could get for the used TPI from the same 1987 Trans-Am?? Its got like 140K miles, but still runs!

The car has been dry docked for about 4 years now due to a broken tranny.....

I've really been toying with the idea of a 87 GN Turbo 3.8 swap, but a "drop in" 13.01 1/4 timed motor sounds really, really nice...LOL.

Approx. $4000 w/new chip.
It would need a really strong trans to hold it, because it's just a little bit of tuning away from the 12's.
