Options for cutouts + some questions
I just found this website for cutouts DHM Performance. I like how it has a four year warranty, while McCord has a 1 year on the motor and gear box, and a 3 year on the body and all other electronics excluding the motor. I cannot find if QTEC offers a warranty or not.
While looking through QTECS customer pics, I found some use a turn down pipe.
First, are these a usefull item? Second, would the summit cutouts bolts be long enough to use a turndown and a cutout?

cutouts are the best, my dad has them on his 463 poncho and they are great . He doesnt have any turndowns he just rivited a plate of aluminum to the bottom of the car to deflect the hot exhaust off the undercoating and body. He would have run turndowns but he couldnt with the eclectrinic ones he has.

I just ordered McCord, should be getting this week coming up. Ive matched it with a 3" Flowtech cut-out, the McCord is 3" as well.

Nope and never will. I really don't think it would matter though...it is made out of is aluminum air craft material...it won't rust or anything. Also has a 3 year warranty on body and 1 year warranty on motor/gearbox & electronics.

I just found out QTEC has a 90 day warranty to cover any manufacturing problems. Right now Mccord appears to be the most appealing. Nice warranty and a good reputation.
I also know of this place that sells electric cutouts.
GN Cutout
Does anyone know more about the turndowns?
