Looks awesome! I kinda liked the dark blue better though, although there's nothing wrong with a clean white t/a

Thanks guys...the car is actually a little dirty and the rims are very dirty. In the above pics, there is no weatherstripping but I managed to get most of that on today. I'm waiting on carpet and headliner samples before I decide on those as well. I'd post more pics but I know there is some kind of limit on here.

My86Firebird...a fantastic body/paint guy who I met through a friend. His work is amazing. If you want info, PM me and I'll give you his details.
1985TAdude....I think they just may be slightly too high as well, but they were cheap enough and I may move them lower if need be.
ES87iroc...actually, it isn't that perfect. It's easier to get the GM POS to follow the contour of the hatch then this thing. The main reason I got it though is to save some weight. My hatch shoots up when the button is hit now.
NEEDforSPEED...Flowmaster American Thunder...one is actually slightly longer then the other but it really doesn't bother me too much.
Goumba T....I'm the same way....people think white is boring or gets dirty quickly but I love it and think it's the easiest to clean.
The rims may be going soon....I have something else in mind

You got my Jealouse Mr. Torque Thrust guy! Thats the exact color I want my car to be redone in.
Course, it already WAS that color from the factory. Just doesn't look it anymore.

I was told....and I don't know how true this is....that GM white paint before '90 would tend to turn yellow if not cared for correctly. I actually do quite a bit of waxing so I doubt that that would affect me, but thats also why I made sure it was a current white.

white looks good, when I paint my car again I am going as bright as I can find, but keeping the gun metal grey on the bottom. I may do pearl, but haven't decided.

Looks AWESOME!!!! Gotta love White. Olny bad thing is when a white car gets rusty, the rust shows a LOT. But thats not the case for yours though.

Thanks for all the replies guys. It's come a long way and is turning out better then I thought.
BTW Zepher, thanks but I have something else in mind for wheels. Maybe next winter since these are still practically new.
Also, for what it's worth...those of you needing to do weatherstripping, the GM stuff fits like a glove and isn't very hard at all to do....just in case you are wondering about cheaper alternatives. I got mine from Jason Cromer and it was only slightly more then a few of the other aftermarket co's.

Looks Awesome!
The White does look really sharp with those wheels. Somehow I feel like you will have no problem unloading those wheels if you decide to change them for something else.
Drive it with pride!
