floorboard updates
Ok, on my days off at work, I started working on the floorboards to get the car ready for paint(metallic black). In the pic below, anywhere you see new metal is where rust aka cancer has complete eaten through including the side wall thing. So, I cut out sheet metal, bent it, tacked it in, hammered it some bore, ect...ect... So, i finished welding today and thought I should post up some pics.
I just started grinding and wherever I see little pin holes from the welds, ill reweld/grind it again. I have some seam sealer I just got and will be applying after the por 15. But, here are the pics, what do ya all think? The first pic looks exactly what it really looks like, the other pics are a little inaccurate because of the camera.

*note*
The rust looking areas is just sand from the sandblaster and extra dirt lying under the carpet.

, i got a linclon though. :hail: And yes, I weld everything too now. haha. It is a lot easier. For instance: My car battery went dead(shaved handles + dead battery = bad
) So, i took a 4foot metal rod and welded a bolt to the end of it to pull the door so I didn't have to make an *** of myself climbing through the trunk.(no offense flynlow...)***************************************************
edit, I meant a lincoln, it was late when i replied to that post. I get confused between my arc welder(miller) and my mig(lincoln).

well, i gave it a coat of por 15 last night(late). And btw, I seam welded everything(no tacks). I have 3m sem sealer(goes in a cauking gun) that I'm going to put over the grinded down weld areas to make it look "stock."

heres a recent pic after the por 15 dried up. I didn't apply the seam sealer yet.
