hey, what is it that you're trying to rewire? the head unit, the speaker wiring?I've done both, and they're really not that hard. I'm not sure what else you'd really want to rewire though...

well, you can just run speaker wire from up front to the respective speakers through the molding and dash. If you could be a little more detailed with your problem maybe I could help u more...

so, you're trying to hook up the deck then? In that case, you should run your own constant power and "on" (can't think of the word) power along with your own ground. This was the easiest way for me to do it. (yellow wire to the cigarette light fuse, red to something that turns on only when the car is on, and black to the chassis some how.

Now you have power to the deck. Now to figure out speaker wires, its just trial and error....with a battery. Use a double A battery, and hold one wire to the negative end of it. Then go through all your other speaker wires touching the other end. You are listening for a faint pop/scratching sound coming from a speaker. You need to be patient, but it works. Using this process you can isolate all the speaker wires and then wire them up without a problem

Hope this helps

Then you could order a factory harness from Metra and splice and solder it in, also, order an aftermarket adadpter harness and splice those to your HU wires so you can put an end to this 'hackerness' for good.

If your car really doesn't have any of those above listed wires.....do what you should do anyways...run a fused 10 awg from the battery terminal, ground the HU directly to the floor or firewall, run the ACC wire from the ignition ACC or fuse panel, use the factory yellow acc if it's still there.

At the shop I installed at, we made our own wires from black, grey, green, white and purple 18 awg or 16 awg...I can't remember but it was reasonable size, not to big not to small. We used thos colors because they were the universal aftermarket speaker channel colors. Run the twisted pairs to all four speakers, the black is the negative to make things easier. Running the wires really isn't hard, just fish them through with something and tuck them away and ziptie them so they don't come back to haunt you later. Twisted pairs typically look better and they are easier to work with when it comes to mobile electronics.

If you want to know how to make a twisted pair, just get a keyless chuck drill and go from there. have fun!!
