tell me what you think

I've always liked how cars looked with bigger rims in the back then up front. I photoshopped this up earlier. Its got the equivalent of 15's up front and 17's in the rear. Let me know what you think. I couldnt get the pic to upload as an attatchment so its linked to my cardomain site.

Honestly, I don't like it. It might look okay if the front wheels were 16". Two sizes is just too much of a difference.

maybe i'll try to pshop a 16, but i thought 16-17 wouldnt be enough to really notice it.

stock 89rs rims are 15's right? (cars in stoarage, cant check)

If they are the ones in your signature, yes they are 15s. Nice photoshop work by the way.

why thank you.

Well, i re-did it with 16's up front. I actually can still see the difference. Maybe this is the way to go.

terrible idea... ruins the look of the car as the body isn't built for it unlike a c5/c6 where the wheel area is designed to keep it in proportion.

to each their own though, it's your car.

would look awful.
The only sports cars that have that are ones designed to have it, hence they have a larger wheel well in the back that looks like its designed to have it. Third gens are not like that. If you really want that stance id sugest 15" rims all around with fat tires on the back and lower profile tires on the front.

doesnt look good , what if you did the same size wheel and went with different size tires instead.

wow, i cant believe i'm the only one who likes how this looks? Its not like i'm going for a funny carish stance, i'd still like it to be level, i just like how it looks with the bigger rim out back. well, i guess i'll throw the idea around a little bit more, still got till next winter till i buy rims so at least ive got plenty of time to think about it.

the design of the car doesn't suit it well...

do a search on the different offset wheel sizes and you'll find plenty of pictures to help you make your decision.

i like the 16-17 set up better but i think that it would look better if it was 17's all around

if u're gonna go with different sizes front to back, i'd agree that the wheels shud stay the same size, but use taller tires in the back. Maybe like 26" in the front n' 28" in the back or something... kinda like a drag set-up i guess. But as far as different size wheels, i dun think it looks too flattering.

I used to like this idea... until Kandied showed me that purple car (or whatever color it was). Changed my mind quick.
