Ati Procharger 3core install Firebird Trans Am
Alot of peolpe had/have trouble with installing a ATI 3core IC on TA's/firebird. This shows how I did my installation.
1. Not doing any mods my IC had to be mounted to the left and not centered.
2. The IC was to close to the radiator and was blocking of the air passage.
This was because the 2*45 deg pipe on the IC outlet was hitting the fog light.
1 picture showing how I grinded the foglight house and the fog light (plastic)bracket, I also had to cut some plastic below.

2 picture: I cut the 2*45 deg pipe just behind the "neck", on the IC side.

3.
I used ATI's mounting bracket, just bent it some. I used the existing hole in frame.

Update...
Before I put the air scoop on car it ran at 182Deg F. Now when the scoop in on ( A home made one, litle higher than ATI's) it runs at 200Deg F. So it does affect the cooling..........
