Some pics of my new exhaust...

Just got this on the car saturday, ground clearance isn't bad, only one low point but I don't want to notch my frame until I find out for sure if it's too low for driving around. Y-pipe peices still need to be taken off and cleaned up a bit (they are stainless), and the rest will be sent to get ceramic coated next winter (its mild steel)..let me know what you guys think....

Holy spaghetti bender man that was a tight fit but you did a great job of getting it in there. The Suspension and the rest of the underside look great too.

Was it done behind the store?Maybe I should bring my car there for an estimate. I need the 3" pipes from the 3" collector y into a 4" also..Was the 4" pipes available locally or ordered from a place like Mufflex?.

Daz,
Yes it was done at the store. The 4" 90* mandrels are made by Patriot performance, they come with 6" of pipe on one leg, and 12" on the other. The Y is made by flowmaster. (got that idea from some pics on here somewhere) only thing we can't get is spintech mufflers, so dual outlets with a 4" inlet is out of the question, unless you buy the muffler from spintech. I used a Magnaflow race muffler.(Have a feeling is gonna be a little loud...lol) but yeah, let me know, or call the store and talk to Mike, just let him know you saw pics of Jim's car, and tell him what headers you have and he should be able to give you an estimate. Only sketchy thing is getting the 3" pipes past the crossmember/framerails....I'm sure you know that though. We were able to put one overtop of my crossmember cause I have a 5 spd, but I don't think it would work if you have an auto. My one pipe is pretty low, but as I said before, I'm not notching anything until I know it's too low...

Thanks,

Right now I have a 3" that goes across from the driver side rocker panels since the collector ends up just behind the wheelwell. The pipe goes under the transmission crossmember then y into the single 3". Its really low right now but it hasnt really given me many problems.I think I need 4" though.I kinda like the single out muffler better.
