TahDah!
DID not expect to get them done, so I have not gotten the red bulbs yet! Tomorrow!

Have a show this weekend & decided to put a new trick off just in time! 100% hand made...just had to steal a clear lense from a Junk yard car and spend some quality time with my dremel! Feels like the old days again!
check out the basic step by step...temp site and no comentary for now! So ask me what you want if you want!

good work , just wondering why , the rears are red stock and they almost go away with the stock red ones, why do you want the clear ones to stand out . Well thats just my way of thinkin .

But about the side markers...to me unless they are shaved they stand out regardless! GM and their clamp on light style...why not just make them like the front & clip in from the back!
My choices were to make the fronts out of red to make them all blend, or make the rears clear! At least this way there is symetry.
Will get them totally installed today and will take some pics tomorrow in the sun...you can compare the full side shots to the old style. Heck that is why some people don't like the clear front markers either...make them stand out too much! I like them better then amber!

not with the APC (gasp...I know I hate APC too!) red LED bulbs! That is how my fronts look so deep! Sadly I'm down one APC bulb.... I got the one I ahd in the passenger side since its the bigger pain to mess with for me! I have a reg bulb in the drivers side with a red bulb cover over it till I can get somemore red LED bulbs...Originally I got them from Barnett. They were supposed to get me 6...was going to have a backup for each light (2 fronts and licence plate bulb), but they messed up the order...now they are no longer a vender. So looks like I'm off to NOPI or Godfathers) Autozone and Advance had some LED bulbs, but last I looked they only carried the yellow in that style. But Maybe now they have a better selection. Also Pepe Boys might have them...
Will report back when I get some as to where!

Looks good and wouldn't mind them for my car but what I really want is a set for the front next to the headlights! Now if someone makes those I will be impressed!

Look good! Thats what I am thinking but for some reason it looks smaller than stock! I don't know if its because of the paint on them or what. I want it to look like stock but clear! I think in the next few months I will be working on this, time pending! Thanks for the info!

Shannon,
looking good! I think they add a very nice touch to the car. I don't mind that they "stand" out from the car. think the clear fronts and rears makes good balance for the side of the car. I think the new "molded" fendor extractors look killer too!
I'd love to see your car in prerson someday. My sister just moved to Atlanta. Are you near that area? Ive Im ever down there, I like to meet up with you and see RAIF in person. Im sure the pictures don't do it justice.
keep up the awsome work.

Brainstorm:
Maybe if you simply cut the face off teh clear and cut the amber out of ours... then glued the new clear lens on the backside of where the amber once was, but I would be afraid of condensation... If you were really good you could cut them both exactly and have the clear fit where the amber once was. How you would glue it or heat the bordering plastics to fuse the 2 together would be a challange. With the wind resistance you would always have a would be afraid it would be a weak spot that would break. Though if you made a channel on the original piece on the border of where the amber once was...then cut a reverse channel on the clear piece to be inserted, you could possibly fit it in that way and have some decent strength behind the piece and give it something to glue to! You would have to make sure the orginal piece was repainted black when you do this though or the amber would show at the seams. The face of the lense is all molded amber!
