I am going to see what I can do about getting Aaron to show up. He may come with his GF and I may come with my Wife depending on her work schedule.

With his car? I hope!

Blackwidow was wanting to talk to him since Fbod has his V-6 running so quick.

I think Wheelspin is still offshore but I may be wrong.

well guys....my car is totaled. Friday I got caught in some rain and took a sharp turn and ended up doing a 180 or something and fell in a ditch and hit a cement pipe. I was taken to the hopital and released about 5 hours later. So i dont know what to do anymore...I didnt know the damage was that bad but i just got it back from the wrecker and its not lookin good Im just lucky to be alive.

DAM_ DUDE!

I'm at a loss for what to say, but yet have a thousand questions at the same time.

I guess the most important is that your OK!!! U got any broken bones, cuts, bruises ETC?

Was the Camaro your only ride or did U have a beater to get back and forth to work? Tha would be the top priority--to make sure U can get to work and keep that new job in place!

Insurance? What's going on there?

Once all this settles in after a few days, where U can think clearly, if U decide to fix the car (or is that just plain totaled out-- no way to repair it-- like U said?). If U are wanting to get another thirdgen and strip any parts from the old one, the insurance co will usually sell U the car back at the same price that a junkyard would give them for the car--usually a couple hundred bucks.

If U want to buy another thirdgen, let us know that too! I have a feeling that, knowing the guys on this board, if it came down to it, we would all get together and do whatever we can do to help, in whatever way we can!!!!!!!!!!

But most important, Let us know what's going on, and how U are doing!!!

Well fellas

my GTA got hit by a drunk driver Friday night so i wont be arriving in that...however i did ask to work a half day of work so ill probably just come in my 91 firebird

the guy was arrested for DWI HAD INSURANCE and a claims adjuster is coming out tomm ...i dont think the car is totaled at all

he hit the pass front fender right behind the turn signal (not touched at all) ....and scuffed scratched and dented it all the way up until the middle of the wheel well where he tagged the rim BENT THE HELL OUT OF IT blew the tire and broke something in the suspension...i cant open my pass side door bc he pushed the fender inwards and when you turn the wheels the pass side wheel wont move so....

well have to see what can be done but i wont allow the insurance adjuster to total it

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?

RudyT5000 totaled his car!

GodSpeedGTA gets in a wreck!

Last month everybodies car was breaking down, This month we have progressd to wrecking them!

I didn't post anything about this but 3 weeks ago an a Sat night, while Sue and I were out for a cruise, while sitting at a light, somebody ran into the mini-van sitting behind me and she hit the back of my car. Fortunately not very hard--NO DAMAGE THAT I CAN FIND!!!

If it's true that things come in three's, then maybe this is over!

Is this all because we were bad mouthing the fourth gens-- and this is the fourth gen ***$ revenge?

Everybody be careful out there and if the Hurricane doesn't cancel the meet--we will see everybody Sat at the Monthly?

Well rats, Im not going to be able to make it now. I have to go to Peru on Saturday to prepare some things for Monday there. I know Max won't go either unless I go. I seem to have bad timing on these monthlies, I haven't been able to make one yet, something always seems to come up workwise.

Good news is I will be spending some time with my girlfriend over there. We are working on getting her a visa so maybe she can come with me to the next one.

Take care and everyone be careful.

I guess Hooter's does not count for "take the wife out to dinner"?
OH Well!

Glad you can make it--we should be at Hooter's until about 6:45/7 pm. Then the cruise to The Woodlands car show, and hang out there for a couple hours.

Tell him it's at Hooter's--maybe that's enough to get him there! If He's never been to Hooter's , tell him about what the "attraction" is at Hooter's

Well, try for the August meet--Aug 13th (at least it's not Fri the 13th!)

Could be any moment, sometime this month for sure.

Mobile? No, I'll let him play with the real thing soon enough though.

The guy in the maroon Camaro I gave a flyer to Tue evening in SW Houston?

I thought u posted under Hawkeye? Maybe u are not the guy I'm thinking of?

As for changing for sig or all that stuff--go to the box at the top of the page "user cp"--click on that and then click of FAQ's and it will answer most of your question about changing info, sig, ETC.

Welcome aboard--C U Sat!

Looks like 11 at the moment--with several definate maybes-- and one that will not get to show up until later at the Woodlands car show. Even though there's 11 there is always a couple that have last minute stuff that comes up that prevents them from attending. Good Example: ESC's wife is expecting at any moment, and somehow I have a feeling that it will take priority of the monthly meet--if/when time comes.

Plus there are always a couple that hardly ever post--they just show up at the meets.

If we put a pic of RudyT and his thirdgen before he totaled it, in the middle of the main table, should that count as one towards the car count?

I think this one should do: Rudy's mobile radiator crawfish boil!

or this one?

30% chance of rain and thunder storms for Spring / Houston / and surrounding areas for Saturday the 9th.

Just FYI.

You know me, if I smell rain, the garage door stays closed!
