what kind of tuning do you do for cams?

what kind of tuning do you do for cams?

when people swap cams, what kind of changes are made to the ecm?

im swapping cams here pretty quick and ill be running stock ecm for a small bit till my tuning equipment gets here.

Depends... the first things that comes in mind are

- idle rpm
- Spark advance
- Fuel
- DFCO
- AE

since a cam essentially modifys the engines breathing charecteristics in a very thurough way its is often advisable to consider (depending on the camshaft) to have to rework the entire calibration. this of course will also depend on the extent of other engine modifications.
