***Thirdgen.org Photoshop Contest #1 *** NO MORE ENTRIES!

Ok guys and girls. This is the first, so to pay hommage we deicded to go with a thirdgen to chop.

This will be a WEEKLY contest.

You MUST begin with the original picture and will not be allowed to use somone else's work as a starting ground or to use any part of thier work.
Basically everyone will start with the EXACT same picture, and they get to modify it however they wish.

Examples:
Shaved, lowered, Change colors, change rims, body kits, convert sedans to coupes. Ricify, performance mods, stripes, Dubs, side pipes, air intakes.

The sky is the limit. You can be silly or serious.

Here's how it will work.

-Pics will be posted on Sundays.
-Contests will begin as soon as you get the new picture.
-Thursday will be submission deadlines.
-Friday is the begining of voting.
-Voting ends Saturday. (everyone can vote, one vote each)
-Sunday votes will be tallied, winner will be notified and will hopefully select the picture THEY choose to be used for the next contest.

**** You must find a host for your own pictures. I guess something like imageshack.com or your own website is your best bet. Otherwise maybe someone will host it for you.*****

Here is the picture for this week.

Modify it any way that you want. Change colors, looks, background, etc... You have to leave at least 1 element of the original pic, doesn't matter what it is.

Only 1 entry per person, revisions are allowed, just have it submitted by the deadline.

You have until Thurday night to submit your entries, so there is no need to rush right away.

Any questions, let me know.

Good luck!

The winner will post the following Photoshop Contest.

For the size, you can resize the picture, but it should NOT exceed original picture size.

Yes, I have a question, Where's the picture? Or do I have to find one myself?

Edit: Nevermind, I see it know, it wasn't showing up not did the post say you had one in it. My bad.

Well here is my entry, i'll probably make some revisions though before thursday...

edit: made some revisions, got rid of the antenna, changed the wheels, added a missing piece that was between the seats, got rid of the black line on the tail lights(not done with these yet) changed the stance, extended the front ground fx a bit lower, changed the camaro on the grill to a bowtie, motion blurred the car, and radial blurred the wheels correctly.

Edit #2: Added the driver, lit up/changed the corner light, and a couple other minor tweaks.

Oh, and if anyone needs a picture hosted, you can email it to me at spearson2010@yahoo.com

They're so you don't hit the curb and mess up the pimp rims. Curb scrapers or whatever they are called.

On the second Picture Flying, the one with the door. It's uh... Backwards.. When a Lambo door opens you should see the interior side of the door. I just noticed it. ::ducks somewhere and hides::

Edit: FYI They are called Curb Feelers.

The people who live next door to my grandma have pimpin pintos with those things on em, thats the only reason I know what they are. they were very popular in the 80's

the door isnt backwards...Its not a lambo door (read what I typed about it carefully). its one of those ones that opens up, then flips....almost like a gullwing door but the hinge is at the front of the door, rather than the top

Mine is much too subtle to win. I think this is how Chevy could have made it (minus the shaved door handles). Lowered, smooth, simple.

made some touch ups on mine. and I also added blue calipers.

I also made this...which will probably end up being my final choice for an entry

Bling

Ok..here is my attempt...I chopped the top, painted it money-green, gave it some dubs, tinted the windows, shaved the door handles, took out the antenna, gave it some clear-blue taillights and side markers (nobody said it had to be street-legal), put in green fog lights, replaced the OEM headlights with some of those super bright (HID?) headlights, put a green neon kit underneath...and oh yeah...I changed it to a dusk setting to show off all the lights better.

I can't fully explain WHY I chose the rear wheel covers. I think it started as a 50's merc, and went from there...

I had some other things to add, but I'm going to the beach tomorrow and won't be able to update.

So I've got :
Convertible top
chopped windshield
lowered on bags
billet wheels
rear wheel covers
Sidepipes
front fender lip massaged into the rear for a 69 "ish" fender look
Ghost flames

....and I installed an LS7 too.

Sorry mine is so small.... viper body kit and front end, lowered, shaved handles/antenna, tinted windows, new wheels, side scoop from a 350GT... eh, I don't know how I feel about it.
