Firebird interior to Camaro... any issues?
Except the dash, the entire 86 Firebird interior (including console) is going into my friend's 85 Berlinetta. The radio pod will have to be modified, but aside from that will there be any issues?

The metal mounts in the doors that the arm rest attaches to/rests on is different. Can take that piece out of the donor cars doors by drilling out a few rivits.
You might be in for a nightmare with the radio pod unless you are good at fabbing up stuff like that.
Can't think of anything else.

The only thing that could make the door panels not fit is if they were GTA deluxe door panels on the Firebird. Those have a much different bracket. Otherwise, the bracket is exactly the same.

halfinchwrench, you must have the deluxe option door panels. The standard door panels for camaros and firebirds share the same inside handle.

I thought they were all like that from 86 and up. Before that the door trim was the same on both cars. I must be using the GTA as a firebird door reference.
