Gas mileage 305 L03 TBI?

Hey what kind of gas mileage are you guys getting with your L03, TBI's. The one I am looking at is in a 90 Formula 5 spd.

There's a recent thread on the TPI board where a lot of TBI guys posted what MPG they get. Check it out:
https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=314756

I've seen and heard of many 305 TBIs getting 30+ MPG with mostly highway driving. As far as city driving, it really varies (not sure why). I've seen anywhere from 10 to 20 MPG reports.

I personally get around 15 MPG with all city driving (nothing over 45 MPH). But, I do have some light mods and 3.42 gears, which don't really help in that area.

When my LO3 was stock (T5) I would get 31mpg on all highway trips.

Thanks BenM that other thread covered it completly. It should get slightly better mileage than my 350 TPI did but on average they seem fairly close with a few exceptions of soem good highway mileage soem are reporting.

I am trying to bring him down on price, he's currently asking $2900. I am biding my time hopefully it won't sell and I can get him close to $2000 which is about what I am willing to pay for that particular car and feel I got a good deal.
