Hooker 2460 Y-Pipe

I notice the chart says that the hooker 2460's dont have a Y Pipe available for them. But on summit there is one called "Hooker Y Pipe" that has the notes:

"Designed to fit Hooker 2460 Competition headers. Will fit all small block Chevrolet Gen I engine combinations."

Is this a mistype, or a new product?

Did you have any fitment problems with that set of headers and y pipe? It looks really good man. Oh yeah another question that I had is this...That extra pipe that comes with it is that designed to fit up to there cat back exhaust system? I am planning on buying it all together and it would be nice to install the entire exhaust from headers back.

Thanks bro

Bill

im also doing the same set up ive allready got the hooker headers but now i need the Y pipe and on the summit web site thay go for about 200 bux im also goign to get the hooker cat back and have the whole system be hooker.... the only thing is im going to get rid of the CAT..... any way any one else that has done this how does it sound and did you notice any more power from your car after the install im mostly concerned about the sound though... i want people to know im coming i used to have the 2460 hooker headers on my last Z with true dual straight pipes all 2 inch ran in the factory channell.... but this time im going to do it a bit cleaner and just get the Y pipe that goes with the headers along with the cat back also....

again any one else that has this set up how doesit sound...

click here for high idle rumble
click here for high idle/rev and bog/regular idle/then rev - this one is quieter because the mic was on the ground instead of right behind the tailpipe (had to sit in the car to rev it )

Hooker 2460 to ****ty ypipe (i'll post pics in a minute) to hooker 3" catback

did these right after starting it (sat for a couple of days)

2 1/4" to 2 1/2" ypipe.. he used old pipe that was pinched like hell already.. told me he was gonna use 2.5 to 3.. but told me it wouldnt matter... mother****er... im getting the car dynoed soon (3 pulls with exhaust 3 pulls open headers $150 or so) and im thinking of taking the sheets to him and calling him a jackass.. next year i REALLY wanna copy Willie's exhaust exactly.

he prolly could have done a better job

sorry to hijack this thread.. but five7, im thinking about building a new motor (406 more than likely) and im gonna try to squeeze as much as i can out of it and keep it streetable.. thinking someone in the ballpark of 450-475 hp.. do you think willie's setup would be overkill for me?
