Well im getting rid of just about all my third gens. Kinda sick of the the crapy productions motors. No Offense to no one. But you have to realise driving a 11 Second corvette then getting into 16 Camaro only getting slightly better gas milages is anoying. So I am getting rid of all but my 88....dont worry I am not going anywhere you all are some of the greatest car guys I know. I will have the 91 still till about spring but then its gone too. 85 is in a friends hands and getting a LS1. The 88 I am keeping and the LS1 conversion will continue. O and the 91 I am letting go for free

Figured I wold give a heads up.

I am probaly gonna move to a Shelby Cobra LS1 and maybe some other vettes. Still third gen is the best looking car to me.

Whos gettin the 91?

 

Not sure about the 91 yet. I am not going anywhere just saying I can't have 5 slow *** cars. So why not one fast *** third gen and thats it?

Basicaly I am keeping the 91 until I can find another daily driver.

So we can still hang out. :-)

 

I think what I will do is be done with Third Gens till I find a high model Vert (Z28 / Iroc)

is it crapped up, because i can probably use it for some good parts. you should part it out locally for us or something, im sure everyone needs a little something you know.

 

Its a flawless car...LT1 cam, Hooker Headers, 3.73 gears, 4th gen posi, ported 081 heads, etc.

heck i can do the body work on it myself too easily. it would just take some time. send it here. ill give you a ride home if you need it.

yea i do body work and paint cars. its my job. and its what i go to school for. didnt it get hit in the fender? instead of going to high school all day i go for 3 periods and then go to a tech school to take auto body/refinishing and im in my second year. every friday we get the whole day to do out own projects at the shop with their tools, booth etc.

 

Insurance is gonna fix the car before I get rid of it.

How much would you charge me to paint a car? If I pay for all the equipment and paint?

 

i think i can only work on my own car. would you wanna do a color change or a repaint? just spots or the whole thing? give me some more info here. any bodywork before the paint?

 

Well I could provide a place to paint...... be a repaint of stock color...lots of clear coat..ill even buy the equipment if you would do all my cars that need done...only body work that needs to be dont is the right passenger fend needs to be bent out a little bit...i dont know body work and could fix it. Can you fix the GFX scratchs and such? Why arnt on AIM?

O im giving them all away...to people I know will fix them... all are gone now but the 91 which will go in spring when I am done working on it. I might trade the 91, 85, and 88 for a Vert Iroc :-)

i have painted 16 of the 17 fbody's i have had. i wish i thought it was fun . it feels like work to me. body and interior are my strong points, don't ask me nothin about an engine tho. i rely on others on these boards for that.

 

i always liked the pro ams.

 

If ZZ4 doesn't want the 91, I'd be happy to come pick it up whenever you're done with it. Any chance its a T-top car? Always wanted one of those.
