cheap car for parts or fix

I got my old 84 Z28 back in a deal. I have NO interest in keeping it or fixing it. I want it gone asap, but I figured I'd try here before listing it on ebay. It needs a choke and the carb adjusted. The trans is shot, it will make it on a trailer I believe but that's it. It also has some radiator support damage and needs the headlight mounting bar. Great parts car, or put it back on the road.
I'd like to get $650 but NO REASONABLE OFFER REFUSED!!!!!! Would be interested in trade for an S10 or blazer. The car is
currently located in Beloit, Wi. Email me with questions.

'84 Z28

There has been alot of interest lately. So yes it's still here, tommarow I will be snapping some pics for a few people so then they will be available.

Here's the skinny. I sold it. The guy pulled out the racing seats and replaced them with a set of buckets from a monte ss. He also took the carb. I replaced it with a holley 600 but it has no choke, making it very cold blooded. It starts and runs but needs some tuning. The trans is shot. If I add some fluid it will move but It hasn't shifted. Also It got hit in the driver's side front this spring. I bought an '82 Z28 from another board member and replaced JUST the fenders, hood and nose. So it needs the bumper and headlight mounting bar. Also the radiator support was bent. I planned on welding a new one in this spring but lost interest. The front clip is maroon and the rest is a weird general lee orange.

I think it is still a good project, but some might disagree. If I don't sell it I might think about parting it out. It is a 305/TH350 hardtop. I'm open to all offers and trades. If anybody's intersted, p.m. me and i can give you my number if you want to call

Does the radiator leak at all or anything? Any problems besides the carb intake issues, the shot trans, the bent radiator support, and the bumper and headlight mounting bar?

Is everything else in good shape?

What kind of rear end does it have?

Is the interior decent?

Rust issues?

Besides the mentioned issues, i can't think of anything else it would need. the gas and temp gauge don't work, but it has after maket gauges. the rad doesn't leak. it has a 3.23 non posi rear. I actually have all the rpo's decoded i could send you. as for the interior, the original color is grey, but it has maroon seats, and for some reason a red headliner. other than the back seat being shredded at the top the interior is tolerable. i always folded the back seat down. it is a previous fl car, so I wouldn't consider the very minor rust an issue. the floors and such are as solid as any car on the board, otherwise i wouldn't have bought it myself. I saw the thread about your search for a car, and would love to help you out. I have a second gen that is my focus now. So go ahead and make me an offer.

Glad you would like to help. I am interested in your car, but we (the foundation) is still discussing options. It is most likely going to be mainly their donations, so I am going to leave most of the decisions to them.

1 more question, you don't happen to know anybody close by that has a trailer do you? My cousin has one, but he lives all the way up in Stevens Point, so it would be a pain to drive all the way down here. I am about 1 hour away from you, I am a little SW of Milw.

I can try to rustle one up, but I would really like for you to check the car out before I haul it up there. It would kind of suck to get there and have you not want it. I'll tell you what. If you want to come check her out and like it , you can have it for $500 cash. Kick it around for a while, I got a few people that's interested but would rather it go to a third gen loving home. If anything happens I'll let you know.

Oh yeah, how does it run?
I mean how is the engine, solid or no?
I know it needs tunning and what not, but other than that is it solid?

You are pretty near the top of the list right now, and if the engine is solid and not a crapper ready to die, then yours might be the one!!!

Well here's the latest, a few days ago I tested the anifreeze. good to +7. As I'm typing this it is 4 degrees. It is very probable that it froze up. I got a guy here in town that is interested either way so I think I'm going to sell it to him. Thanks for the interest to everyone that replied. If I don't sell it to him I'll keep it and put it together again next spring.
