Once some more people reply we can discuss that. I'm thinking late May or early June, perhaps at one of the lovely state parks.

DPA sounds good. Heck we'd probably draw lots attention there, bunch of f-bodies in one parking lot.
Oh wait!
What about some Friday at Bellmore or Massapequa Mall?

Just an FYI, Bellmore is not closed, just not sanctioned by the town. I know of lots of guys and gals that still go down there... DPA is a bad idea, because the cops can be a real PIA. Just an idea, you could also use Bethpage state park, we can even BBQ there! Could be fun, and would let those with kids show up....

If I time it right I will have my car by the end of May and would be driving home from Setaucket. So if I'm in the area I would love to stop by. Have a Jersey boy up in the mix. Oh *** that didn't come out right. Well anyway someone come up with a place and time and I'll more then likely be there. You guys will be the first to se my car. The engine and trans will have about 15 miles on it by the time I get to the meet. OH BOY I CAN"T WAIT TO GET MY CAR BACK. It sucks so bad not being able to drive right now. But keep me informed and I'll definatly go.
I think Bethpage would be great. Again, it would work because it's free, no need to worry about cops who don't like "hot rods" and it's easy enough to find. Also, depending on th weather we can drive down to Jones beach/Ocean parkway to Rober Moses for some pics

Yeah, Bald Hill is definitely cool. I usually go on tuesday nights, it seems to be a little bigger on average, plus my best friend's dad builds the motors for the Farmingville Fire Department Drill Trucks, and since they run it on tuesday night I may as well support them. I'm still up at school too, I'll be home June 12 and will be there probably almost every tuesday of the summer. Hopefully I'll see you guys there. There's an Applebee's right down the road that's a pretty good meeting spot before or afterwards also.
You can count me in on this action too. I just have to get the gta running, but should be done this weekend. I went to Bellmore 2 weeks ago and it was sad. You cant open hoods anymore, nor sit in chairs in front of cars. I saw a bunch of tickets on cars as well, especially the ones with "for sale" signs on them. It was a really sad site to see, especially since ive been going there for the past 8 or so years. Hopefully they will move it somewhere else, but baldhill should still be nice. Tues nights are usually the busier night, although I havent been there on a Thurs myself. Where ever/whenever sounds good to me though.

I'll vote for Jones Beach, but where ever it is try to make it in Nassau so poor city people(like me
)don't have to drive so far - as for bellmore, yeah it is getting bad but I still go every week(red GTA with white nose and turbo V6 under hood)and still have a good time even if my hood has to stay closed for the early part of the night.

Vote for Bethpage
Bethpage sounds good to me, although I have no clue where it is. Always good to mix in food with a gathering. Just post some directions and some potential dates for this gathering. Im up for any weekend that it doesnt fall on a car show, or swapmeet.

Why not just meet on Friday nites at Masapequa Mall, (bellmore is not good anymore) it has good lights, it's near all, its big, and there be other cars there also. We can just take a spot for us.

Jones Beach is located at the south end of the Meadowbrook and Wantaugh parkways.

I remember one night I had my Grand Am up at 105mph on the bridge over the bay on the Robert Moses Causway. Crosswinds really push you at that speed!
I am not sure but maybe some has seen/(been to) the car gatherings on sunrise highway? Not sure where on sunrise but i remember driving east on sunrise highway and every weekend there was a car show with ALOT of cars in the train station parking lots. anyone know what i am talkin about???
Englishtown Meet is July 20th if i am correct.... so y not meet at jones beach a day or two ahead
Even if the turnout isnt great.... we can still have some people to cruie Ocean pkwy with

That is true.... Well, if we just drive up together without breaking laws or anything.. cant be anything wrong with that..
By the way.. i have seen 2 beautiful blacks z28's at the show... dont know if they are 1992, but def a 91 or 92... One had ROH snypers, and the other was pretty much stock in appearance...
I am hoping to get my 92 z looking taht great... does anyone happen to know who owns those two cars and if there are any pics around?

new spot
Everyone that used to go to bellmore now go to the sunrise mall on fiday nights from 5 to around 10:30. I went last week and there was a HUGE turnout. This is the best place and there were groups of each kind of car. I felt like the third gens were under represented too.lol

imagine a group of mabey 20-40 f-bodys cruizen down sunrise with exhaust roaring and sterios pumpin
im sure we could scare a few people
