PowderCoated a Junk Part 2day. pic with in..

Its not 3rdgen related YET. give me a few DAYS and Ill post Pictures of a TPI and other Parts Coated also. anyways here ya go............

It was a Cold Air Intake from someone who wanted me to make him one in CarbonFIber back in FLA. but he never came back to get either of em. So its been layin around. anyways I desided to do a test piece. Well here it is.

Easy if you have the kit/gun to do it.... Sorry no tech article. I got a powdercoating system from eastwood and a few colors to do other stuff people want done.

Whoa, that looks like the intake from APC for imports. Looks great though. Can't wait for the tech article.

Powder coating stuff is as easy as siffting powdered sugar on cookies, actually it's easier then that LOL. I did a couple of my computer case parts last year with the first system they came out with. Clip on the little wire, hook up to the air source, pull trigger and put a nice even coat on the item. Take clip off, give a little shot on the spot left and place the item in oven or place under the heat lamps. Viola!

YES a Edel. intake... and its just sittin around cuz I bought it to Port, and coat and re-sale.

I have a tpis base ported and extrudehoned on my Z.

I also have a stock base and runners to coat and sell.

I have a GN TURBO collecting dust Im gona coat with Hi temp silver. some 87 camaro brackets. 92 serp. setup. etc...


and YES its as easy as sifting powdered sugar on cookies.


The kit coat me $300 bucks. thats with spair parts and a few colors. Im gona be ordering 24 more colors this weekend
