My former boss had a 83-84 Z28 and she said it was an olympic special #679 of 2000. It was beige had the stickers. Is this real or not?

I thought so. I wish I could have bought it when she sold it but it went to the Carver the gm dealership owner. It wasnt in that great of shape but it had t's and I had no car to go to work so I never knew when she was selling it.

Correction to the above:
The production figure of 3,722 is correct. The Special Olympics package (RPO 1A3) was an option on the 1984 Sport Coupe ONLY. All these Sport Coupes were white. The package itself was comprised of striping and decals. It included a double blue/orange striping around the base of the car, similar positioning to the IROC-Z striping, pinstriping in the same colors along the upper body and an "olympic" style decal on the sail panels. I do have two pics if anyone cares to see them -- just have to figure out how my scanner works in my new 3 in 1....

I remember seeing them at the dealer back then and thought "what an ugly car". They were only on sport coupe's. Nothing but a stripe/appearance package.

Well im glad I didnt buy it now. It could have been a 84 SC with the lg4 and olympic package and was then converted to look like a 84 Z28.

Here are my two pics. The first is not very clear, but it's the only one I have of the entire car. I also don't want to reduce the size because it loses even more resolution:
