Hello Chris,
It has been a week since I spoke with you last and I still have recieved no communication or tires from you. I have found another member saying that you scammed him over. I am concerned. I hope you have only been busy. If so I am sorry for saying the rest.
Again, I am sorry for what I am about to say. I am only saying what I am going to do. I have the reciepts from the tracking number and I see it was delivered to hardeeville south Carolina on March 29. Which means that shipping takes 7 working days. It has been that long with no tires showing up.
I have the postal money order ticket. Which the post office can track for me. They can tell me where the money was deposited, the date it was deposited, along with your real name and address. (Even if it was cashed at wal-mart, or some gas station, it will tell me where, along with the date and time, with which security tapes can be pulled.)
Then I will walk accross the street to the courthouse and set up a court date for a civil hearing. which will mean that you will be legally summoned to appear in a decatur Illinois courthouse. I can send the summons to the same address. (since we know someone picked up the money order from there.) Not showing up is against the law. The only thing I can say is that I hope you did not use your real name, or address. Because most likely I will find you. I will send you daily updates of my progress. Unless you speak to me.
Mark Burton.

To moderators, tunedportterror and users:
I am not trying to complain, bash, belittle, or start a hate session on tunedportterror. I am only tryng to open a dialog with him. If I recieve comunication with him, the tires or my money back from him I will delete these posts. I want to get this worked out.

Sorry to hear of your getting ripped. Your not alone. I was scammed by forward540, as were many other members. That was a $125.00 (same amount for me also) lesson to be sure and do a search for seller feedback on this board before sending any funds out. That will be my policy from now on.
Best of luck on recovering your $125.00

There are a few of us with something in the works. It seems that he has done this before, and when caught he changes his name. I am in the process of getting a sticky created of towns/address's where known offenders are, so even if they change names, they will probably use the same town to have things sent to.

As an update. I did recieve two tires from him. One of the tires though is in horrible shape. I will post pics in the next post. It has either major curb damage or this guy cut out pieces of the sidewall with a knife.
The story goes like this. I contacted TunedPortTerror and sent him a money order with delivery confirmation to his place of employment, which was Jaguar Hilton Head in South Carolina. He replied back saying he would ship the tires. That was the last conversation I had with him. for three weeks I PM'd him daily, emailed him at work, called him at work, called his personal phone. Lack of communication was not the problem.
I did research on him and found out he had scammed many others. (see this: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/clas...-delt-guy.html )
I got in close contact with some other members who had been scammed by him or were in the area of SC and willing to help. I along with another member collected all of the copies of money orders, delivery confirmations, emails and classifieds about tunedport terror scamming people. I spoke with the Illinois attorney generals office, South Carolina attorney generals office, ftc, internet fraud center, FBI, Beaufort county sherrif's office. I was told to contact his place of business and inform them off all of this before making formal complaints/charges about tunedportterror and the dealership.
I then contacted his place of employment and spoke with his supervisor. I told her everything that he was doing. "selling" things and having the money sent to the dealership. He was fired that day. The termination of employment was confirmed by a member who went to "pay him a visit."
Chris then after getting fired Sent me a PM saying "i'll be sending your tires tomm. i'm sorry for jerking you around." I recieved the tires, with the large gashes in them. I had ben told by him that "tires are in awesome shape, they held air just as a tire should, and they are a pair, right and left." This was far fromthe truth. I am unsure of the ability to hold air or weight. See pics.

The administrators seem to have a lack of compassion for these situations. I am comfortable knowing that our recorded information, presented to the correct people got him in more trouble than he bargained for. He lost his job. Everybody on her and LS1 tech knows about him.

I got screwed by someone also. He sent me parts that were junk and from the wrong model. I went through the courts and eventually got all my money and expenses back. It took time but I got it. The funny thing is he had been in court twice before and still did it. Plus...after a bit of investigation, it turns out that the guy didn't have a great deal of cash anyway. He stayed in a crappy little house in a crappy little area and in the end I probably hurt him more than I was going to get hurt as instead of just giving me my $400 he was out of packet a lot more.
