Stripping a 1992 Z28 for a track car, many parts for sale

Ok, I bought a 1992 Z28 to make into a track car. I've pulled a few things and everything else should be coming off in the next few weeks (or sooner if someone wants it).

Stuff that's leaving ASAP (some needs pulled, some is already off):

Split folding rear seat and base (grey). This is the two piece folding rear seat. $65 OBO (pending)

Door panels with non cracked top plastic sections (the panels are a bit dirty, but otherwise in decent shape). $50 each OBO (pending)

Radio trim bezel. $25 OBO

Airbag sensors (front and rear) - $20

I'd prefer local pick up in Galloway, OH or close to it (I have a truck and can meet you somewhere in a 20 mile radius). I'm open to offers on all of it. Some of this stuff seems to go for "stupid" prices on some of the boards, some seems to go for "free". If I'm way off base, say so and I'll work with you. The stuff is coming off and I'm not going to use it, so if you need it, lets talk.

Shipping is extra. I'm located in Galloway, OH 43119. Some items are not able to be shipped unless I can find boxes, and a safe way to package them. Most items can be shipped and I'll try to work with you to do that. Or, local pick up is fine.

Thanks!

It's already sold and been shipped out. Sorry.

As soon as I get to where the windows are coming out, I'll pull them. I might need them for a bit longer.

The headliner is "junk" and that panel is already spoken for. Sorry.

The rears are the 50/50 split seats and are in decent shape (I removed them tonight). The fronts are "decent". I thought they were really bad, but I think it's mostly the padding in the drivers seat that's broken down. I need the passengers seat for a few track days, but the drivers seat and rear seats will be coming out ASAP. I think I can find a way to ship those, I'll have to look for boxes.

I think it works (I've not looked). I'm not sure if it's coming off yet or not. Let me see....

The trim piece is now available. My friend has a 1987 car (like you) and his rear brake light doesn't need the extra "bubble" (plastic shield) that they put there for the 3rd brake light housing. So, he's going to pass on it, but I bet you'll do the same for the same reason.

Re: Stripping a 1992 Z28 for a track car, many parts for sale

Is the steering column still stiff not floppy like my last two thirdgens have been. I dont need the steering wheel or airbag. Im located in texas 79605 so shipping would be a little. I you want to just ship the column with none of the accessories that would be fine. Do you have to push down on the column to dim the headlights??

I'm keeping the column. I'm not fully parting it out, just stripping the interior bits for a caged race car. I have to keep that one, sorry.

Offers? I'm reaching the "get it out of my garage" stage. Make me an offer I can't refuse and I might not. I know someone needs interior parts.

Thanks guys!

Re: Stripping a 1992 Z28 for a track car, many parts for sale

Ok, any of the plastic trim parts that you need, speak up. As long as I can find a way to ship them, or if you want to pick them up, let me know. I'm getting very close to taking all of it to the recycling bin and dropping it off. I hate to lose these parts that are getting more rare and that someone might need. The larger panels, will probably have to be local pick up only, but let me know and we'll see if we can work things out.
