Trade 36# injectors for...

I'm looking for a set of 30# injectors. I have a set of 36# injectors, white, LS1 style. Too big for my combo.

I could probably even use a set of 26#.. let me know.

Lets trade.

Re: Trade 36# injectors for...

just a thought but I have heard LS1 injectors are rated at 60psi fuel pressure so that 36lb should be more like 30-32 at lower pressure correct?

These are not stock LS1 injectors, they are the white 36# ones.

And all injectors are rated at SAE.

They all run different pressures, but injectors are all still rated at SAE.

Re: Trade 36# injectors for...

How much HP is your motor making? I'm going to be droping almost the same motor as you this winter - 350, TFS 23, slightly smaller cam, Lt1 intake. I need injectors for it. I bought (6) Grand National injectors with intentions of buying another set since they are in the high 20 range ( 28 or 29 I think) but I finally thought that they would be too small or on the boarder line of being too small. I was thinking that 36 might be right. What problems are you having?

Well, for my current combo (say 480+) the 36's are right, but I'm changing the cam to a slightly smaller cam to move the powerband down just a hair to make it more overdrive friendly. (sub 2000rpm driving).

Sometime in the future, I'll be selling the CC306 cam on here.

I know your thinking "Dude, your gonna lose 50hp!" but the bottom end was built to support 800hp+, so I'll take a 50hp N/A loss if I can squirt it with a 250 shot for the track.

Re: Trade 36# injectors for...

you interested in Grand National injectors? I have 6, they aren't worth much but they are in the high 20 lb range. You could probably pic up another 6 for cheap.

Otherwise, interested in selling outright?

Re: Trade 36# injectors for...

You say LS1 style... round connector? What injectors are they exactly? Bosch, Siemens, RP, etc.

I have a set of virtually brand-new Frod SVO 30#ers (Bosch 0280-150-945, F1SE-E5A) I would trade, depending on what yours are.

Pic:

They are the round body, "pencil type" white ones. I'll double tripple check the
part # when today and report back to you. They use the standard connector
on all the fbody/ybody's, not the newer style connector. I say LS1 style because thats what I was told when I bought them, but I ran the numbers at the time to tripple check they were infact 36# at SAE pressure, not some crazyness.

You and I have, if I recall, conducted a transaction before with pleasurable results.

Re: Trade 36# injectors for...

If you don't have any luck with the others, I have a set of 28# LS6 injectors I'll trade you. I ran them in my 383 for one season, until the 427 was ready to drop in with 36's.

@ 43.5 PSI those injectors run from 33.3 34.3 lb hours, not 36lb hours.
