Yeah, there should be a grill of sorts there. Under that, there's a rail that directs water away from the motor.

Looking for a complete tail light harness, from the connector on the driver's side to the side marker on the pass side. MUST be complete, not hacked, bulbs not needed. (Converting to early style tail lamps for LED conversion)
