These heads were off of a friends 79 camaro, he upgraded and i was going to use them on a project but have gone a different direction.
His camaro was running a consistant 11.80's at 116mph on motor, stock bottomend with flat top 4 valve relief hyperutectic pistons, single plane intake, 750 carb, compcams flat tappet single pattern 248 dur @ 0.050" cam (off the shelf cam), 1 5/8" long tube headers, 350 trans with a jegs converter, 3.73 gears and southside lift bars in a stock weight car, just listing his setup to see what these heads can do with a very average setup.
