Moser 9 inch rear with a stock ford third member with 3:51 gears a pose. I bought this brand new for a project car I was building 4 years later and still not done tired of looking at it and not having time to finch it time to parts it out and move on. It comes with both the 31 spline axles with 12mm studs. I have it setup for 4th gen rear disc brakes. This is all new never got the car off the jack stands. This is going to have to be a pick up item only unless you want to make shipping arrangements and have it picked up. I will have pics soon Thanks for looking

 

A friend of mine is interested in this rearend for a S-10. Whats the width rotor to rotor. What is a stock Ford 3rd member, compare to a Moser 3rd member? Also waiting for pics!

so this is ready to bolt up housing-wise? what rear brakes is it set up for? what would I need to get to make it fully ready to go? how much to ship to 39170? this is the last thing I need for my car.

rear is that welded or bolted on? It doesnt look right to me.

 

Basically it's a Moser 9" Ford Bolt-In Housing/Axle Package new form spohn for about $980 + shipping. Includes new heavy duty housing, seamless steel axle tubes (3.00" OD x .250" wall), all mounting brackets, torque arm mount, housing ends, custom alloy 31 spline axles, wheel bearings, wheel studs, and retainer plates. I was going to use 4th gen disc brakes. I have all the brackets and mounting plats form a 94 Z28. You would need to get calipers disc and brake lines. I went with the 31 spline axles over the 38 because that is the most common used by ford and you can pick up third members relatively cheep at swap meets. I have a stock ford 3:50 pose third member that was rebuilt. I got it form a Friend of mine when he went with some 4:11 in he's mustang. It's nothing special but it works and I was planing on using it till I started dialing in the car. The torque arm mount is stock form moser and is the way they come. The torque arm mount is removable so you can pull the third member out and is bolted to three mounts that get welded to the hosing.
