1987 IROC Z kick panels wanted

I just recently traded my 87 Vette Roadster for a very nice mint 1987 red IROC Z . The car needs a few things for the interior. I noticed it does not have kick panels which cover the fuse box on the drivers side and the passenger side area as well. There are under dash light bulbs hanging. Where can I find these parts and did the IROCs have them?

I have the kick panels off a 91 IROC Z vert. they are grey. I will check to see if it has the fuse panel lid on it or not & get back to you.

Re: 1987 IROC Z kick panels wanted

Ted is correct. What you are requesting is the Under Dash Covers and they run $10.00 each plus shipping and handling. You may also need the Fuse Cover that runs $5.00 and the Diagnostic Link Cover which runs $3.00 plus shipping and handling. If you have any questions or other needs we can be reached at (805) 522-2539.

Thank you,

The frist tow are camaro hush panels the drivers side one is out of a manual trans car. I have one form a auto car but don’t have any pics right now. The third one is a pass side form a firebird a/c delete car.

Re: 1987 IROC Z kick panels wanted

Here is what House of Camaro sent me. Thomas is a good guy. However I think he may have sent me the wrong hush panel for the drivers side for my year IROC. There are 3 mounting screw holes at the top with a cut out for the diagnostic terminals. I have the cap for it however this cut out is blocking me from removing the cap from the terminal freely. The middle mounting hole is off and does not line up correctly for me to screw the center in place. I believe there should be 4 mounting screw holes. This looks to be from a later year camaro.. maybe a 91-92? Here are pics...

I was just told this hush panel looks to come from a firebird and not a camaro. Any input from anyone? Thanks.

hey 87, the panel you have is for your car the 91-92 has the ode port on the left side, they are all have the 3 holes to mount, but sometimes they dont line up witch is a common prob for cars that are 20+ years old things shift and then not to line up, but if you still want another i have a few for all years pm if your interested.

That is defiantly form a firebird. If your iroc has the adl cover that goes over the connecter look at the top of your kick panels there might be a metal bracket with a hole for the lights. The cars that came with out the hush panels had a adl cover the slides on and the brackets for the lights on the kick panels.

Brackets for lights on the kick panels? You mean an opening for the lights to snap into on the hush panels. As for the panel I took pictures of.. I knew this was the incorrect one for it. I am positive that there are 4 mounting screw points to hold the hush panel in place on my IROC. The one I pictured had 3. The passenger side hush panel only needed 3.

Hear check out this link.

If you look at the first 2 pics I posted before they are camaro hush panels you can see the top is not strait across one side hier then the other. The 3rd picture is a firebird panel it is strait across like the ones you have.

Thanks for the link. It was interesting. I still believe my car came with them because it wouldn't make sense for GM to make a car and to have light bulbs dangling under the dash with the wires freely. Since the passenger side buttoned up good with the hush panel.. still awaiting on the drivers side from a forum member.
