John, yes I can just do a nose emblem if needed. I might have someone who wants a complete set MINUS a nose emblem. So can split it up.

Re: CNC'ed Aluminum Emblems

These are sick but 250 is pretty steep for a set of emblems. I think you could sell a ton of these if they were priced more reasonably no offense but there's no way they cost that much to make, If I were you I'd try a new approach and try to sell a higher volume for a lower price rather than selling a smaller quantity for a high price.

I'm not saying your wrong, the price for anything that has been cnc'd is steep,

But look at the price of the fake carbon fiber "looking" emblems, my buddy paid $250 for a set of FAKE red carbon fiber emblems, I think it's a rip off for that set, but for a set of cnc'd emblems you know they are quality and he can customize them, and look how much a Cnc machine costs, you gotta make big profit to pay for it

Re: CNC'ed Aluminum Emblems

There are similar (yet slightly less-cool) stainless steel emblems for like $50-70. In your buddy's case he just made a bad investment that doesn't really increase the value of any other set of emblems. I'm just saying this dude probably doesn't own the machine, is just making them on the side at a machine shop and I don't know how the necessary raw materials+"labor"+cost to operate the machine (& any other factors) could possibly add up to 250.

Re: CNC'ed Aluminum Emblems

It's all in what kind of style you want, billet aluminum machined, or flat stainless steel that was cut with a water jet, two different looks that I consider the same quality because Of the metals used, but one costs a good bit more to produce

Again I agree that $250 is alot to pay for a set of emblems, but you gotta pay to get anything billet lol

I actually remember seeing a set of billet aluminum door jam vents that were $180, it's expensive stuff

Re: CNC'ed Aluminum Emblems

Yeah I dont know anything about the CNC process but it still seems crazy that the aluminum is 5 times the price of the stainless. Kinda disappointing cuz I want a set of these but that much money would go a long way towards something a little more significant.

The stainless one are very THIN and just that a piece of cut stainless. FLAT STOCK.
These are a EXACT direct fit. 3d profile .Same fit as stock. 10x nicer then the stainless. You can't compare the 2.The nose piece is profiled/curved like stock. Even the back so its a better fit then stock. Ask anyone who has bought these on here. BDNBLK , BlueZ28 ,BLK89CAM, just to name a few. Most Polished and Painted were $350 and up for custom Sets. Some of these in this post were left over sets from people not paying. So I figured Id let em go cheaper then normal.

These are Custom made for the customer, custom dash emblems if wanted etc.. Sorry you feel they arnt worth the $$ but it is what it is. I hand polish and actually paint with automotive paint. Prime, base , clear coat. That right there if you take to a automotive paint shop would cost MIN. of $120

few more examples of how they are profiled. To show they are not just some cheap cut out chunk of aluminum.

Aain sorry you think they are to much. There is quite a bit of programming and design into the files, billet isnt cheap , paint isn't cheap (ppg good stuff) and machine times , machine bits , etc.. All adds up. I could ship em off to china and do 1000 sets at a time and drive the cost down but I really don't care to do so.

I still need a complete set of exterior Z28 emblems from you but I don't have the money for it at the moment

Maybe when tax returns come around next year my wife will let me spend a little on the ol' blue.

Have you looked at the two? The thin flat stainless emblems look cheap. I'd much rather have the stock emblems. As fstfbdy mentioned, there is a ton more design, programming, manufacturing costs involved with his emblems. And they looks MUCH better as well.
