TPIS 10 bolt 78.5" Rear End Girdle for Camaro/Firebird $40
TPIS Aluminum 10 bolt Rear End Girdle for Camaro/Firebird. TA Performance is the actual manufacturer, sold with the TPIS logo on it.
Fitment: Chevy 7.5" 10 Bolt Rear End Girdle fits all '82-'02 Camaro & Firebirds, '77 and up S-10/S-15 Trucks, and most '77 and up GM RWD including Monte Carlo equipped with 7.5" or 7.625" Ring gear, 10 Bolt Covers. Fits '94 and up F-body as well.
Mistakenly bought this years ago for my third generation but it wouldn't fit because I had a 9 bolt. Never used!
Comes with all bolts and gasket. This girdle is designed to put a very light pressure on the bearing caps to prevent their deflection under severe load.
$40 plus shipping. Normally sells for over $150.

Specifically designed to add support to the bearing caps under severe loads and acceleration, these girdles substantially strengthen the rear end. They also add fluid capacity, which helps to lower the fluid temperature. Comes with drain and fill plugs for easy maintenance.
All TA Girdles are made of 356 aircraft grade aluminum, heat treated to T6 specifications, each cover is then stress relieved.
All Girdles incorporate a Fill Port and a Drain Port for ease of servicing.
All Girdles incorporate 2 load bolts with swivel "feet" for supporting the bearing caps.
All Girdles increase fluid capacity approx. 1/2 pint.
All Girdles show a decrease in operating temperature, average of 15 degrees.
Weighs about 7.5 lbs.
Improves Undercarriage Appearance.
