-I have a 91 rs 305 tbi that needs a replacement 700r4.
Not looking for anything race built, just something reliable to get the car back on the road.

These parts would be great to replace too:

-This rs was purchased with the dreaded, highly unavoidable cracked chin spoiler. Looking for a replacement aero style.
-Air vents
-Hood blisters
-91-92 16" flat faced wheels (tires too)
-dash pad without cracks

A good source for a used trans.

 

These seem a bit over what I'd like to spend especially for the distance req'd to travel, I will keep it in mind though..some were reasonable. Thank you

Hickory Grove had a few 3rd gens last time I was there, also Auto Acres had a few.

Yes, hickory grove is the only one in the area that has one..They are priced a little high + they want my old one. Keeping them as a last resort.

 

I've got at least two good ones, but am a distance away from you.

 

Pat will usually take any old trans as a core return, I gave him a broken FWD trans last time I bought a 700 from there. Just in case you have any friends with something laying around.


I know you want the 91/92 wheels but i have a set of single stripe IROC wheels down in the shed if you are interested. I also have a basically new Hooker Supercomp exhaust kit that I need to get rid of.

 

Found a trans yesterday, Big Reds had one...pulled it myself for a nice discount.

Still looking for a 91-92 aero front valence (chin spoiler), black speaker sails, 91-92 shifter plate, a grill, and 91-92 wheels.

 

Nice, hopefully the bugs weren't too bad down there. I try to avoid South Concord during summer.. lol


I'll be out at the yards this weekend, i'll keep an eye out for the rest.

 

Bump for an aero chin spoiler, driver rear speaker sail (black), and a dashpad.
