Re: IROC Grid Tail Lights Checkerboard Taillights

Dont buy **** from this guy. I bought these lights. They arrived clearly broken. I attempted a pm to which no reply. Made paypal dispute. He replys thanks thats my only income now its locked. Then claims these lights were only worth 28.00 but charged me 115.00 shipped. Refuses to make refund and calls me a liar. Says I'm passing my lights off as his. Well I didn't have no f****** lights thats why i bought these. Why in the blue f**k would I buy your lights and then try to f*** you out of them? I have 20 grand in this build. I would pay 500 for a good set. But I won't just waste money of no kind.

He knew they were broken the lens was busted in the center. No way it happened in shipping. I am the one getting the golden goose here.

If I have to spend 10 grand John in RI to take my 115.00 back I will. Bet on it...

Re: IROC Grid Tail Lights Checkerboard Taillights

Claims that I intentionally shipped him busted lenses;and that I KNEW they were busted when I shipped them. I handled those lenses for 45 minutes while packing them up "super padded" to insure they arrived safe. There's NO WAY I'm sending you a fulll refund for your busted parts dude.

Here is what he claims I shipped him;

I'll be fully detailing my transaction with Dale once I get back so folks here see ALL the info and can make the call as to who the fraud is.

P.S. I'm interested to hear from Hawks; if they see this thread - feel free to comment on your taillight transaction with Dale.

Re: IROC Grid Tail Lights Checkerboard Taillights

That is what you shipped me. I dont have any tails but the ones you shipped me. Mine are still at Hawks. They arrived there busted *******. The only ****ing lights I have are yours.

I have never in all my years had one issue.

I sent a guy some door panels that got lost or he got and said he didn't, guess what? I refunded his money. I may have got screwed because I never got the panels back but he didnt get screwed.

These are your lights John Agli of (insert your address here). I meant what I said about I will spend 10 grand to take my 115.00 back. Money isnt the issue. Its the fact they were packed so well and arrived with a crack that I know you knew. Why the hell would I raise a big fuss over these lights if I were trying to pass mine off as yours. Mine are in EASLEY SC!!!!!!!!

DON'T CALL ME A THIEF OR A LIAR AGAIN. You sir are the one doing the screwing.

I promise on my family these are your
Junk busted junkyard tail lights that you sold me.

Re: IROC Grid Tail Lights Checkerboard Taillights

You insured the package. I still have the box it came in with the sticker on top.

Why wouldn't you say "sorry man no worries I will refund your money send them back and I will take care of it"?

To simple. I would send them back in
The same box and boom. Done.

Why? Because youre a shady ****er and you know it.

I will not go silently into the night.

Re: IROC Grid Tail Lights Checkerboard Taillights

This is the comment this guy sent to paypal. Explain to me how I paid 115.00 for a tail light he says is only worth 28.00. All lies John....

6/25/2014 04:56 PDT - Seller: The tail lights I shipped are/were EXACTLY as described. "Complete & in good used condition; no cracks, no holes, all studs intact " ( I have NEVER - and will NEVER - call used parts "MINT"). The taillights I sent to Dale are the taillights that were pictured and their condition was EXACTLY as advertised. Buyer trying to claim his original (broken) parts are the parts I shipped him. Here is the original add: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/exte...ights.htmlThis is the picture Dale sent me of his cracked lens - Claiming that It was the lens that I shipped him "already broken".http://www.berlinetta.info/temp/MullinsTail1.jpgIt's quite obvious that there was a past attempt to repair & restore the lens he pictured. (crack is not a clean crack thru the Black grid- it has been smoothed out and the lens shows a bad ( bubbling ) re-paint. This is NOT the lens I sold to him, this is NOT the lens I shipped him. Here is the Insurance tag showing shipping costs: http://www.berlinetta.info/temp/Slip.jpgThere are 4 parts to a complete set of lenses, 2 Lenses and 2 filler panels. Shipping $23.502 Fillers = $252 Lenses - $56.60He paid $28.30 for each lens. He also claims 1 lens was shipped already cracked. However he is demanding that I issue a FULL refund PLUS extra $$ so he can ship his broken parts to me.I've been a member in good standing @ the website this transaction originated from for over a decade without a single incident. It is ludicrous to believe that I would jeopardize a stellar reputation over a $28 taillight. For reference, here is my feedback from other buyers there over the years. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/itrader.php?u=884: The lens he claims was shipped to him 'already broken' is his old lens. I will not be issuing Dale a full refund, He received the tail lights that he paid for.John in RI

Re: IROC Grid Tail Lights Checkerboard Taillights

From your quote I looked that the shipping receipt. It looks like in the right hand column in the box that says "insurance coverage," that it was insured for $100.
The $20.92 is for postage and the 2.60 was additional paid for insurance -with the postage total & fees = $23.52.

Is it possible the tail light was damaged in shipping? Do you still have the box that it was shipped in?
If the box was damaged, then it would help with insurance paying out the claim. Sometimes they come out to inspect the package as well.

That's what I was thinking. I sent a guy a pair of t-tops recently, and one was completely cracked in half! They were packed extremely well.
That's why we insure things- even if you don't believe a person, you make a claim with insurance, and move on. Losing your reputation is not worth digging your heels in.

Re: IROC Grid Tail Lights Checkerboard Taillights

A good solution would be claim it on insurance once he sends the tail back and replace it. You get paid for the 2nd tail and he doesn't get cash back, just another tail. If he is trying to pull a fast one, it wouldn't be satisfactory to him. If all he want's is a good part, it should please everyone involved. I've seen my share of shipping damage in getting parts. I have also seen nothing but good references about John. Him and Beth are the two main sellers here I will tell people to go to. I don't believe for one second he intentionally sent, or even accidentally, a damaged part.

115. That is the # of great reviews he has. Not one negative review. Do you think after all those reviews he'd finally go well to make a hundred bucks on some tail lights I will post good lights and send crap lights....no.

Where as Dale has only been a member of this site for 8 months, only has 10 posts. And no reputation to protect.

That is all I need to see

This was my conclusion of all this. As well as Dale yelling about how he spent 20k on a third gen.

Insurance was never an option for him - he just filed another insurance claim for the taillights that he sent to Hawks that were "busted upon arrival". No way the USPS is going to pay out for multiple claims to the same person for multiple sets of busted tail lights. Easier to claim I shipped defective parts then keep a good set of lenses + get a full refund.

Here's what he returned to me for his FULL REFUND.

Updates here for anyone that might care to know the kind of guy Frank is:

Go check my same user name at s197forum.com I have a great iTrader not one negative trabsaction.

Just because I been lurking here reading not posting because I have a life doesn't mean I'm the bad guy. Those lights are the ones he sent. I am not pulling nothing. I recieved them. Opened them, seen the damage and immediately contacted him. He ignored me. Its easy to change a time stamp when copy and pasting.

I asked him to refund my money plus return shipping. Why should I be out any money for parts clearly not what I paid for?

Why dont you stop judging and think about it.

I have spent 20 k. Would you like to see all the receipts? Built LS1. All the Texas speed parts. All the bmr parts. All the interior parts? The screws bolts plastics? The 12 bolt rear? The wilwood brakes? The QA1s? The paint work?

All I wanted was a clean set of lights. It pisses me off that I paid for these and they arrived cracked. I shouldn't have to defend myself. It is what it is.

Im done. Whatever happens its gonna happen. Im done.

Apology is fine. Accepted.

This whole ordeal has just disgusted me.

I knew about those links you shared. I called on them. They are discontinued. No known supplier to. Reproduce. Thats why they say out of stock. Believe me I would have rather went that way....

Re: IROC Grid Tail Lights Checkerboard Taillights

Long story - short,.....

A claim was filed against me over this transaction.

I escalated the claim to a dispute.

PayPal sided with the buyer and he was granted a full refund.

Items were returned - destroyed.

Appeal was filed with Paypal.

PayPal accepted the appeal and most of the funds were recovered.

Paypal dispute is now CLOSED.

Sure wish that things turned out different; NO ONE is happy with the way it worked out in the end.

I'm glad you didn't get totally screwed, and it shows very clearly that just returning the items isn't enough, you have to return them in the same condition you received them

Glad it mostly worked out for you. You didn't get the full amount back, but you didn't get totally screwed either.
