Parting out 1983 Trans Am

I have a 1983 Trans Am to part out. Exterior is white and interior is dark brown. Pretty much all interior parts are available. See below for pictures. I can take and post more pictures as requested.

The following interior parts have been sold:
radio bezel, shift plate, E-brake, shifter handle, console pad, instrument cluster and trim, dash trim either side of the steering wheel, PW switches, seat belts, sill plates, door handle trim

Please post here or PM to let me know what parts you need.

I will start a separate thread in the exterior parts section as well.
I'm located in Rochester, NY and travel to the Buffalo / Niagara Falls area ever month or so and could possibly deliver parts there as well. Will accept Paypal or cash in person.

same comment as above: a guy PMed me for the whole middle console last night. if that falls through, you are next in line for the shift plate and console pad (i'm assuming you are referring to the middle console glove box door?).

you can see some pics of the rear bumper in the exterior parts thread i have: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/exte...983-trans.html
let me know if you want more pics.

Thank you. Please let me know one way or the other.
Do you happen to have the 4 screws that hold the dash pad onto the dash through the defrost holes? Or the push nuts that hold the radio speaker grills in place?
Thanks again!

Re: Parting out 1983 Trans Am

yes - i have the dash screws, but they're in a big bag with all the other interior hardware. can you measure one of the screws so i know the length?
as for the speakers, the grills on this dash were pressure fit. they didn't have studs with speed nuts.

the bumper is already off the car. if i take the corner pics of just the bumper, will that give you what you're looking for? if not i guess i can reattach it and take pics tomorrow night.

Re: Parting out 1983 Trans Am

Thanks, but my car didn't come with a dash pad, so I have no idea what size they are or what they look like. Maybe someone on here can post a picture of theirs with the dimensions...

prices as follows not including shipping (PM me your zip for a shipping quote). pictures also below. no tabs are broken on the trim pieces.
instrument panel: $75 for the cluster only or $90 for cluster with the trim
trim to the left of steering wheel: $10
trim to the right of steering wheel: $20
lock bezels (pair): $20 for the bezels only or $35 with the trim pieces, PL buttons and manual locks

still waiting on confirmation from the guy interested in the whole middle console. trying to arrange sale for this weekend. if that doesn't work out you'd be behind kitt23 for the pad.

Great. I would like to take all the above. I have the cluster and really only need the trim. But will take it if it isn't sold separately. Thankyou very much. Do you use paypal? Transport2800

I'll take the cluster only for $75.00. Or the cluster/trim combo if transport decides he doesn't want it. Please PM me shipping to 77014.

Hi, again! I just realized I am missing the cover that goes under the map pocket on the passenger side of my 84 Firebird. Do you have one for me? Here's the piece I mean:

Thanks!

I forgot all about this thread, went a different direction with my other build so didn't need the rear bumper. I now have a '83 Recaro. Are any of the air dam pieces still intact?

i'm holding onto the air dam pieces for awhile. still not sure which direction i want to go with my '84 restoration - full ground effects or just the blisters by the front wheels and on the rockers by the rears.

sorry i didn't see your request. do you need the driver piece that goes in the same spot as what you posted for the passenger side? if you have an A/C car then i do have that part. i'll take a picture tonight.
