Miniram install question

Guys, doing a Miniram install on an 87 tpi IROC. Question is, I see some pics with guys that have a special bracket on top of the fuel rail to hook up the throtle cable. Do I need that? The kit only came with the on brracke that looks like it does both throttle and tranny but I think for some applications this special bracket is required. Any input?

Re: Miniram install question

The one on top is for your throttle cable. Its a must have part.
Bracket on the side is for TV and tom cruise control mounting.

If you bought it new, call TPIS and they will send you one right out if yours is missing.

Re: Miniram install question

I think only the 90-92 use the upper bracket.

Not on a O ring or compression fitting.

Re: Miniram install question

Then it maybe 89 and up, most likely with the difference in throttle body's, so yes I believe your right since the change over in cables was 89 IIRC.
