Will a Strange/Mopar master bolt up to the brake booster?
I'm about to bale out on my manual brakes. I just can't get enough line pressure to lock the calipers and the stopping distance scares me. No way am I trying to stop at the track at 130mph.
I don't have a booster in the shop to check myself, but will the strange/mopar master bolt to a stock booster? I don't want to have to cut into the hydraulics again if I don't have to. (and since I've already adapted everything to SAE I don't want to have to get adapters to use a stock master)

What size master cylinder are you using?
What front calipers are you using?
What rear calipers are you using?

We discussed this a few weeks ago. 24mm master, 4:1 pedal ratio (2 1/8" down from pivot), 2.75" bore non low drag calipers (speedway), rear PBR calipers (89-97). Pushrod travel looks fine.

So I put it all back together with a new pushrod mounted at 2 1/8" down from the pivot. Travel is nice, no binding, nothing.
Pedal isn't hard, feels a little springy if anything. I can't lockup the brakes no matter how much I push on it. I give up. Going back to power.
I measured the master and the bolt spacing is different than my LS1 master, so I guess I'll just go completely back to GM with a raman booster.
The manual brakes might be "right" for manual brakes, but I can't even stop fast enough to jerk my head.

I think what is hurting you now is your low pedal ratio. It needs to be around 6 to 1 which is about 33% more leverage than you have now which equals more line pressure. The other thing that may be hurting you is brake pad choice.
Let me know if you have additional questions.
