'91 Z28 L98 Wonderful Car!
First off. Many of you will recognize this car as being listed for sale a few months ago, which it was. The car was sold to a friend and soldier based in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. After owning the car for a few months and doing a few things such as swapping heads, he contacted me asking if I was interested in purchasing the Camaro back, as he was over-loaded with three FBodies. So I did a friend a favor and took back the Camaro immediately.
A few weeks after bringing the Camaro home, I put up a thread here listing the car for possible trade for a 305 m5 G92, well some mutual friends of mine and the Oklahoma guy saw the thread and took it as if I was trying to rip off my friend in Oklahoma or was trying to 'run away from problems' with the car or something and was trying to dump it, ya know those completely random comments. Well, the 'mutual' friends began causing disruptions and I asked for the thread to be completely pulled to clear the air. I'm a great guy, I promise! Just recently dealt with several members on the board as I sold the original parts when I had the engine out for the build-up and dozens of members who I have worked with on here and befriended personally will proudly support me. Anyway, 90% of you probably won't care much for this statement, but just trying to clear all air.
Now, the ONLY reason I am listing this car is because of a deal/situation between myself and member BlueZee28. BlueZee28 has a '90 IROC for sale that I won't be able to support unless if I sell my Camaro, so I've talked to BlueZee and we've discussed that he'd assist in doing what he could to hold the IROC until my Camaro sells(if it sells swiftly). But feel free to contact him and possibly buy his IROC if your interested.

Just recently an intake gasket broke(Oklahoma owner did not tighten all intake bolts), during that time I decided to pull the block and freshen/build up. The block and heads were shopped check for cracks and wear, which everything came back okay. I then decided to upgrade the engine in which a new cam, springs, lifters, gaskets, all fluids, exhaust, etc was done. The car was put back together in Mid-March and has been running like a champ since, so it's fresh and ready to roar. All power options work great, starter and flywheel were just recently replaced also.

This is literally a dream car but as stated above, BlueZee28 has a gorgeous IROC for sale. There is a lien on the Camaro, but it can be cleared within minutes of the day cash is in hand. I can travel nearly anywhere reasonable to meet up or deliver. I will consider trades(+ cash) for extremely nice '90 - '92 IROC/Z28 305 Manual/Auto.
Asking: $7100 - Neg.

Hey Cam, this Boostjunky from MOFBODY. I'm planning on coming down next Wednesday. Would that be swift enough for you? I was planning on looking at bluezee's car as well, but he's not fond of selling it to me since my mods are gonna be so heavy, which is cool. I'm ready to buy too. If it's as nice as it sounds, hopefully we can work out a price next week.

Bump for Cam's car. It's very nice I've seen it in person, heck I found it for him when he first bought it!

Re: '91 Z28 L98 Wonderful Car!
I need to take an updated picture of the interior, I have one with the old seat covers but it's been a while since I took pics, interior is in great shape, just the common small wear spot on driver seat but nothing is cracked/broke/not functioning/etc... all looks and works great. Black upholstery.

A member named Rick emailed me showing interest in the car. Rick, please PM me on here so that I can talk to you. I received your two emails but after writing a reply email, my ISP has gone hay-wire and I have not been able to send out all day, and I do not know your user-name to contact you.
As soon as I can send out, I'll have the email on your way, but it's been acting up often lately and I don't want it to cause you to miss out on the Camaro. Please PM me.

Hey man! Lol, you've always been a good man! The car is more or less sold to a gentleman from Nashville, TN. I haven't said anything on here yet because of course anything could happen, but Rick(the Nashville guy) and I have been talking through PM's and Phone Call's quite often the last week or so, just takes time to set up the trip to make it out to get the car, clear the lien and get the car home ya know.

Hey buddy, the car is pretty much sold, hoping for a transaction date of Monday the 28th. Rick and I have been talking back and forth as we have been getting everything settled for his long trip here to get the car. If some extreme situation pops up and Rick is unable to purchase the car, we can talk then about the car.

Car has officially been sold. Rick came in from Nashville last night, and left with the car this morning. Absolutely wonderful guy. Thanks Rick, make sure your wife doesn't get to jealous with all the attention you'll be getting with the Camaro!

Re: '91 Z28 L98 Wonderful Car!
LOL, yes and I have enjoyed the car thus far. I look forward to keeping you updated with any changes and fixing those few things (headliner, cracked lens, etc) and what power mods might show up (such as the under-driven pulleys I ordered when I ordered the megashifter. And she will be okay with the attention... my truck is a head turner too. It will not be the attention I get.. but give that will get her. he he. Not really she is a great wife and will enjoy the car as much as me... I am a lucky man. Thanks Cam. Keep in touch.

There you are! Each day I log in and check this thread waiting for you to make a reply, and finally you have. I feel bad for the few small implications that happened, but I'm glad there only small things that can easily be fixed.

Re: '91 Z28 L98 Wonderful Car!
Yes, I checked the next day... I could not post to the sales forum because I was not a member for 30 days. But all is good now.
As for the 'small' things. No sweat. It is a used car and I was expecting some things. I have ordered some stuff and want to do some tuning this weekend if I have a chance. So, I will follow up with you and keep you posted on what is going on. But right now the plan is:
1. I am putting the fan switch on a thermal switch that can be over rode manually... so I do not have to keep 'remembering' to turn the fan on.
2. Underdriven pulleys
3. Autometer tripod with electric water temp gauge (cobalt)
4. B&M megashifter install
I will be looking for a chance to port the intake, put ported vette l98 heads, and 1.6 rr's on. So, we shall see.

Sounds like a winner to me buddy! I never got to do everything I wanted with the car, but at least your carrying along the process doing the right things!
