4 cyl 1985 Firebird for sale
Hi
I am the original owner of a 1985 Pontiac Firebird 4 cylinder Iron Duke 2.5 liter T-top. I have lost the space to keep it and have to sell it.
I will not part it out. It must go to someone who wants this all-original car with 84,000 miles.
I love the car, but cannot keep it.
The head has become cracked and needs to be welded or replaced. The car is completely original except for a replacement GM muffler and GM brake pads.
It has every option except power seats. It even has a rare factory AM Stereo radio, that has FM Stereo and cassette player included.
There is also the roof console option with built-in flashlight and trip counter. In other words, every option that was available in 1985 was ordered with the car.
It is automatic. The color is black. It has been covered over, but will need to be really cleaned up. It has never been in an accident. The seats are black and grey cloth, but need to be cleaned up.
PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND IF YOU WANT TO BREAK THIS CAR UP!!!!
I WILL ONLY SELL IT TO SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO KEEP THIS CAR ON THE ROAD. THERE ARE FEW 4 CYLINDERS LEFT. ALTHOUGH MANY PEOPLE MAKE FUN OF THE 4 CYLINDER FIREBIRDS, IT IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE PONTIAC HISTORY.
Don't think that I don't like horsepower. I drive a 500 HP car on the street. I don't think I've had as much fun in it as the Firebird!
Please respond to this forum, or you can e-mail to tj12hk@att.net.
THANK YOU.

Re: 4 cyl 1985 Firebird for sale
Here are a few more photos. As you can see from the engine compartment, the head is off and the exhaust, a/c, etc. is all intact waiting for a new head or welding of the original. If the head is welded everything on the car would remain original GM. The wheels are without wheel covers to prevent theft. The left front fender was scratched by a bicycle. The front bumper paint is peeling.

Re: 4 cyl 1985 Firebird for sale
Hello. I'm happy to tell you the car has been sold for a VERY SUBSTANTIAL PRICE to a well-known collector here in California. He recognized the historical value of this Pontiac 4-cylinder. He said any remaining TOTALLY ORIGINAL 4 cylinder cars will eventually be worth more than the WS-6 in perfect condition. The car is now being restored at a facility that specializes in Ferraris.
Good luck in your search.
