Car: 86 Trans Am
Engine: 305 - Stock
Transmission: Auto
1986 Trans Am Ram Air
1986 Pontiac Trans Am
Asking $3,800 (originally asking $4500)
305 V8, Auto Trans
Actual Original Milage : 72,630
Dark Blue with Grey Interior
Location: Tempe/Mesa Arizona
+Ram Air Fiberglass Hood
+Fiberglass Rear Spoiler
+GTA wheels
+Power Windows & Locks
+Auto Transmission
+CD Player (I have the original radio still)
+High Flow Cat
+Upgraded air-dam (underneath radiator) + back up (in case it gets damaged)
+Original Miles
+Original Motor & Trans
+Recently replaced: starter, spark plugs, distributor cap, battery
+1 of 3 Owners
+Lots of work has been done replacing parts that were original from 86 (like the cooling system, radiator, water pump, hoses, seals, bushings, and alot more). I have all paper work from everything that's been done.
She runs great. I take her for a spin 1-2 times a week. Never been in a collision or had any major damage.
Current: Issues:
-Carb rebuilt or replaced
-Intake manifold leak
-Vacuum hose leaks
-AC doesn't work (needs compressor)
-Won't pass emissions**
**I have it registered as a collector car w/ collector insurance so emissions doesn't have to be a major issue. Carb & Vaccuum Hoses will allow the car to pass
I really want my TA to go to a thirdgen fan. I love this car to death but it needs a better home. Financially I cannot turn it into the beast I want it to be. I've been repairing a lot of the original parts from 86' on it but nothing major... nothing fun, no major modifications. Mainly leaks, seals, hoses, etc. She's my dream car but I have to let her go.
Let me know if you have an questions. PM or email.

Re: 1986 Trans Am Ram Air
No major fun performance upgrades. She still has alot that is 86' Stock. She's a blank slate for someone who wants to take her to the fullest.
Everything has mainly been standard repairs & replacements.
Repairs/Replacements
-Lots of seals & gaskets
-Belts & Hoses
-Cooling System (radiator, water pump, etc)
-Brakes
-Starter
-Solenoids
-Idle Arm and a few other suspension components
-Some bushings
-Battery
-And other stuff I can't remember... ButI have all the paperwork for everything done since the beginning of time. I have all paper work from the 1st to the last owner (3 total, I am the third)
Fun Stuff
-GTA Wheels (by me)
-High Flow Cat (by me)
-Ram Air hood Grills (by me)
-FiberGlass Spoiler (by previous owner)
-Aftermarket Radio (by previous owner)
-Ram Air Hood (by previous owner)
