New GP?
Hi Everyone,
I posted some new GP's and I did not get the kinds of responses that I was hoping for. Center consoles (which I know most are dry rotted and cracked) and shifter plates (which I know are old and nasty looking). Why was there not much response to these items? What would you like to see next? Give me some ideas on what has the ability to get 10 people ready to buy quickly.
Below are some items that I would like to get the feedback on to see if we might get some interest...Let me know your thoughts!!
Pricing listed below is list pricing:
89-92 convertible top release cable $95.00
82-92 C/F Headliner Trim Panel $89.95
82-92 Camaro Front Filler Panel Hood Latch Support $49.95
87-88 C/F Convertible Header Panel $149.00
89-92 C/F Convertible Header Panel $149.00
82-92 Camaro and 82-89 Firebird Door Trim Panel pair $79.95
82-89 Camaro IROC-Z/Z28 Horn Button $69.95
91-92 Trans Am Firebird Front Fender Ground Effects Sold by Each or By Pair $269.00 pair or $149.00 each
Let me know what you all would like to see

Re: New GP?
I need a horn button for my 87 Camaro. I need a new manual shifter plate, too, but apparently no one else does.

Re: New GP?
I would LOVE a refurbished forebird center console.
I went to purchase it last week and i see you guys have taken them down.
Do you still have one by chance?

Re: New GP?
I think those tanks are still available through the gm dealership. That's where i bought mine and it was under 25 bucks for the coolant overflow. This was about a few years ago...
I'm sure the 91-92 front fender ground fx are always going to be in need.
A few years ago before i sold my gta, i was aggresively trying to find them my 89 but to no avail. It's only recently have i been able to find a few used ones, but would rather have new ones or reproductions.
currently i'm looking for doors sills (beechwood color perferably.) i'm sure it's not a popular item for mass production but i'm sure it's important for visual apppeal for any restoration project.

Re: New GP?
I think it's just hard to find enough guys on here that are working on the same parts at the same time.
If you look at the membership here you have a couple groups. Group 1 has cars that are done, group 2 has beaters they are trying to keep on the road, and group 3 are getting project cars started that are soon discarded.
Heck I've been waiting months for the iroc hood to get enough. I have talked to other supplier, and at this point I doubt it will ever happen.
I appreciate what you do and have purchased from hawks many times and will continue to, I also appreciate you wanting to offer group buy deals.
