Strange S60 rearends
As many of you know, we believe in selling the higest quality parts available. With that in mind, we will now carry rearends by Strange Engineering. Strange offers a 12-bolt rearend but the stronger and cheaper option is the S60. We feel it is the best rearend on the market for the price.
The S60 was developed by Strange Engineering to exceed the demands of hardcore drag racing and street performance. The S60 was designed to accept Dana60 components. The 9.750 ring gear can endure a tremendous amount of abuse-equal to a Ford 9” at a fraction of the price and they are far superior to aftermarket 12-bolts. The S60 also comes standard with 35-spline axles and a Truetrac but you can upgrade to a locker. These rearends come complete with gears and 3.54, 3.73, 4.11, 4.30, 4.56, and up are available.
These rearends are direct bolt-ins. However, they may require a different length driveshaft and aftermarket torque arms may have to be modified. They are designed to accept 93-97 style factory disc brakes but 98-02 style mounting plates are available.
The S60 will sell on our site for $2349 ($2035 for drag-race only rears with spools). However, we are trying to put together a group purchase for the month of January. We need to sell four of these rearends in order to offer a group discount. E-mail us or send us a message here for more info!!!

Yes, we've got a few people interested now and we're hoping to get something going as soon as we get done with Thirdgen Fest this weekend.

Yes, now that Thirdgen Fest is over we are working to put together a group purchase on the S60. It looks like we will need to sell at least four in order to offer them at a discount. If you're interested, send us an e-mail at dennyb@thirdgenranch.com or send us a PM here for more info. Thanks!!!

Re: Strange S60 rearends
what would the cost be with the group purchase ?
though i will say the price listed on ur website is very very good for a complete s60
before i moved from the east coast my uncles racecar shop was the only strange warranty shop on the east coast and we had the best prices on strange stuff as well
so yeah thats a damn good price on a complete s60

I've got cash in hand right now for a rearend.. it's between this and a Ford 9". Please PM me what the amount would be for a group cost or post it here.. I'm looking to purchase very soon (within the next week or so). What about driveshafts? You guys also offering those?

Re: Strange S60 rearends
I can't see my current rear end lasting many more launches at the strip, so I may be interested in something like this.
