It's a 1986 says number 11 on the hatch. Stick shift car and red interior. I've done some research and apparently this car was seen in 2004 somewhere at the back of a car lot about to go to the crusher and wouldn't run. In 2006 a member here found it at a year one car show (search my posts and I commented in that thread today to let everyone know it was found) ok now here is the info I got today. Has a newer crate motor in it. This guy said he found it sitting in or by a barn and has had it a year to a year and a half. it was drove there. He thinks the 25k miles on the dash is the orig miles but no way to know for sure. Looks like it mainly needs the z28 hood put back on. Said it didn't fit cause of a huge air intake and filter. That he was gonna change and put the factory hood back on. It's missing the front bumper and ground effect as you can see. It needs body work as you can see. Motor isn't original. Mecham spoiler is good.
My questions now. I've googled this a decent amount. Some have those wheels in them and other things say it should have ronal wheels on it. Are these wheels correct?
Next question, does the motor swap hurt it?
What's it worth? As it sits? Are there really only 12 or 13 built?
Did they do this too z28's or just iroc? It has no iroc stripe and the others I've seen have the iroc fallout on the door. All the other stickers are correct and in the right spots.
Says it has the talon suspension on the side. What was it?
He asked if I wanted to buy it. Didn't throw a price out but kept his number. What should I offer? He had the original window sticker. Slots of receipts for it. Didn't see anything actually from mecham though. Just lots of magazine articles and pictures etc.

Well.... That was a worthwhile thread bump. 10/10, thrilled I clicked the link and even more thrilled I noticed the date and didn't read anything before scrolling down to see what awesome bit of information someone had to add. Thanks for the update!
Sarcasm aside, instead of bumping old threads, why not start a new thread over in https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/members-camaros/ about the car(s)? I'm sure you have a story to tell, and aside from giving the Mecham groupie fan boys something to find with a google search, you're not giving anyone much of value by pointing out the status of the 3rd brake light. I'm sure people into those cars woudl like to know more about them, and what your plans are, if you're just looking to clean em up and resell, or restore and show, or collect more. Idk, just seems like bumping old threads is a dead end.
