I'm not a TTA expert, but why are the rocker emblems so low and why are there no TURBO fender badges on this car?

Good eye. Ad lists it as 89 V6 Turbo.
They have got another nice low mileage 3rd Gen. This Time a 85 Iroc Z with 1070 miles on it.

Not sure about the rocker emblem, but the "Turbo Trans Am" emblem was sometimes sent to buyer after purchase. According to Scott Kelly, PAS engineering liason, the badges were being stolen off the cars in lots early on, so they stopped putting them on.

I've seen many TTAs in person, and never has one had over 20,000 miles.

I had a chance to buy a 89 TTA about 12ish years ago. It was in chicago so about 3 hours from me. It had 40K on it, The guy who had it, bought it from the original owner & then he added some aftermarket turbo intake parts, radio & a few other things that I saw as a negative. But he kept all the original parts so it was all reversible. he was asking $15K & we were at $13,500 over the phone. I think he would have taken $12 ish in person. I never pulled the trigger & while I dragged my feet he sold it the following week. At that time the ultra low mile cars where for sale on collector car websites for $20-$22k So $13500 didn't seem like a steal, but it was fair. Now I wish I would have bought it. But thats the way things always go when your gut says "go" & you don't.

Love the turbo T'As Beautiful Iroc too. Could have bought an 89 TTA for $4500 1 year ago, I couldn't come up with all the money. Car ran and drove fine. Car needed paint and a few minor things. I'll regret it forever not buying it.

If it only has 281 miles, why would they feel the need to do exhaust work? With a car that has barely any miles on it why would they attach exhaust tips that make the car look awkward? Thats just me I'm a bit of a purist.
