For sale: LS1 fbody clam shell motor mounts
Since I swapped a pair of poly mounts onto my car tonight I'm gonna sell the ones I removed. There's nothing wrong with them, it's just that because of the big cam in my motor the exhaust was hitting the floor and I wanted to try and get rid of that. These would be great for someone going for a mild build without a lopey cam.
I painted them black right before I put them on my car, which was about 1,000 miles ago.
$40 shipped.

So, this is the actual steel mount and not just the insert that mounts to the engine? If that is what you mean I am interested

Blue,
Did you have a spare set of clamshells that you swapped the poly mounts into, or did you find a place that sells them complete? I just picked up a set of OEM rubber clamshells under the assumption that I need the steel shell to put the new poly mounts into. I'm just second-guessing if my assumption was correct.

Jim, I bought my new mounts with the poly bushings already installed. So yea I actually have two sets, these and the new ones. I figured it would be more convenient to buy some complete ones instead of taking mine off the car and taking them apart to put in the bushings before I installed them.

Sorry I should have clarified. These were used clamshells with new bushings. I don't know of anyone that sells them assembled brand new.
