Rev-it Up Car Show

Re: Rev-it Up Car Show
There were a couple hundred cars at today's show in spite of the 100-degree weather. The general quality was outstanding. No thirdgen cars other than mine, of course (I get tired of announcing that). And no one chatted me up. I guess a shower or mouthwash is in order.

If my car was in nicer shape I would bring it by. I live maybe 15 mins from there.

BTW, I'd guess your cross fire is a 305 if it's OE.
Hope to see you at the cruise-in.

Re: Rev-it Up Car Show
Well I don't think my car will be ready by then. It was a original 305 crossfire car and I'm in the process of swapping it to a 350. If im done with the swap I'll bring it by, if not then I'll just come up look around and say hi.

Re: Rev-it Up Car Show
Thanks for letting me know. If you like going to car shows and showing your car off then there's a little car show going on in perry this Saturday. If your interested I could find some info out on it. Not sure how big it will be but it's a car show and last year it was decent for a small town.

Re: Rev-it Up Car Show
Oh alright I didn't realize they did it so often. I think the one in perry is earlier in the day. My car still isn't done or I would drop by too. I would really like to see your car at some point if you don't mind. I'm trying to get a general idea of what a nice one should look like and how far away I am from having a nice third gen. It's also nice to be able to talk to someone that actually knows somthing about our cars. Many people don't understand what I'm trying to do because they know nothing about the car.

I agree about chatting with other thirdgen owners, which is why I'm generally disappointed when I'm the only thirdgenner at cruise-in or show.
